Look familiar? Luther is a typeface designed by Tony Geddes in 1968. Geddes was the co-chair of Panache Graphics Limited in London with Dave Farey. Known for typefaces such as Musketeer and Spotlight, Geddes made Luther in reference to Martin Luther and the typography of the time. It was originally designed as display lettering based on European woodcut alphabets, but was later famously used in the opening titles of a spooky season classic. Anyone know which one?
