THE VISION
.

Over a year ago, God commissioned me with a very simple mandate from Exodus 35 and 36: "To build tabernacles, to raise up levites and to awaken hearts to first love."

It has been a long journey of faith and obedience. Although the pictures you see on Instagram may make it look glamorous, it has been a process of long days and nights on my knees in tears, bringing God my heart and all of my questions. It has looked a lot like letting go and embracing the death of all my own fears and idols.

"Unless a seed falls to the ground, nothing will grow."
The narrow way is not an easy path, but it is worthwhile to know and be known by the everlasting love of God.

As I look through these pictures and reflect on Saturday night, I see so clearly the vision of God manifested.

God so loves His people that He desires that there would be more spaces like this across the earth. Spaces where the focus and goal are purely making room for Him to come and manifest His glory and His goodness. Why? Not because He needs more dedicated servants or people blindly following Him, but because He desires lovers. Those who will give themselves to this One thing. Trusting that as they seek Him, that all they need would be found in Him.

God has so much love for you, and His desire is that you would find fullness of life in His presence.

I am deeply moved and humbled by what God did on Saturday night. People were healed, hearts were restored, and minds renewed.

God is going to continue to do so much more in and through all of us - He just needs our wholehearted "Yes."

I believe that God is establishing new tabernacles on the earth in the hearts of men. So that wherever we go, His presence will be tangible and evident in us. We are called to be carriers of His presence - for in His presence, there is fullness of life and joy forever more. 🧡

LEVITES

Last year, God began to speak to me about the calling He has for creatives to live fully devoted to Him. Using their gifts to glorify Him rather than seeking their own glory. He has made us to be more than perfomers, we are priests. Made to be prisms in which He can shine His light through, for the whole world to see. Living temples whose hearts and lives He can inhabit.

My heart for us as a band was that we would show up whether during the recording process or a live show, as more than just performers. That we would step into our callings as priests whose main focus was not building a platform for ourselves, but rather ministering to the Lord first and then to the people.

We spent months before this event in prayer and fasting, really seeking the Lord for His heart. It wasn't enough for us to just prepare ourselves as musicians or entertainers. I wanted to be able to catch a clear vision of God's heart so that we would become living epistles and testimonies of God's goodness. Carriers of His presence so that wherever we go, we would bring with us light that overcomes darkness.

But the tabernacle is not just established by the musicians. There are priests whose sole job it is to maintain the place of meeting. Ones whose service and worship is expressed by crafting and curating an atmosphere that is welcoming and that facilitates and hosts the presence of God.
As only God can, He provided me with a beautiful team of dear ones who expressed their love for Him by creating a beautiful and safe space to host the many hearts God was calling to Himself.

In Exodus 35 and 36, we see illustrated the beautiful partnership of the Spirit of God and His people given to one thing: establishing the tabernacle of God. People brought what they had gladly, their gold, their skills, their lives. The artisans and craftspeople painted and sewed and carved. The musicians practised until they were excellent and skilful in their instruments. And levites dedicated their whole lives to the pursuit of His presence. The people of Israel were marked, and their lives transformed.

May it be so amongst us, even now, Lord. 🙏🏾🧡

TABERNACLE

Last Saturday, I hosted my very first live worship experience sharing the songs and stories from 'Through The Years'. There aren't enough words to describe just what God did that night. I've spent all week trying to comprehend His faithfulness and goodness.

As I had been preparing for this event, I felt God say a few things. His request of me was simple "build the altar, and He would come and consume it."

His heart as a Father longed to see His children come home. But this work had to first start in me. There was no striving or spinning that I could do that would make this thing happen. I had to first learn how to lay down my desperate need for affirmation and significance and instead enter into His rest and assurance as a child of God.

This night was about more than merely just gathering people to sing songs and have a nice time together. It was more than just celebrating a release of my songs. It truly was the result of my life poured out and laid down in the most vulnerable way so that others can experience the same healing and hope that I have found in Christ.

On Saturday, I invited people to share in my most precious and secret place - the garden I have walked in with the Lord through the years. I shared my testimony and stories of being saved from the deepest darkness by God's marvellous light.

We laughed, we cried, and our hearts burned and came back alive. We asked deep questions and sat together in silence. We didn't rush, and we made room for one anothers weakness and brokeness. It was holy ground - a tabernacle built for the Lord, by His people. And true to His word - God came and met us there, and we will truly never be the same.

"Did not our hearts burn within us?" ~Luke 24:13-35

Singing in the garden > sweating it out in my flat. 🌿😅
Safe to say this little spot beneath the willow tree has become a favourite lately.

I’ve lost my voice and am currently fighting off a chest infection (thoughts and prayers very much welcome). But I just saw this video sitting in my drafts (probs cause I talked myself out of posting it lol). Anyways, it was nice hearing what my voice used to sound like- as it’s been almost 3 whole days without it now.

I’ve always deeply loved this song and been so inspired as a writer by the storytelling and how it moves my heart. I hope it blesses you and brings a nice slow and gentle pause to your day 🧡

I am enjoying this cover series, so let me know what song you would like to hear next, and God willing once my voice recovers I can get back to singing my lil heart out! 🥲🥹 by @enyo.music

A beautiful yet simple love song on a beautiful day ☀️

🎵 Heart of Worship by Matt Redman by @enyo.music

For a while now, I’ve struggled to know what to post and share on here- especially music wise. I guess I hit a bit of a creative slump. But I’ve had a lot of fun singing songs that have simply brought joy or meant something to me recently.

This is one of the songs that found me at the right time.

I’d sing it full volume in the car like I was trying to remind my soul that discouragement doesn’t get the final word. That I still wanted to live life to the full, hold onto joy, and keep believing there’s beauty and hope to be found, even when life feels heavy.

Funny how songs can do that sometimes.

Honestly, making these little covers has already reminded me how much of a gift music is.

So here’s a little cover of Living My Best Life by the one and only @jessiej 🐐

Thanks for showing us how to live life fully and not take ourselves too seriously. 🧡

Not me posting 2 days in a row 😅

I’ve had this song stuck in my head for days and with the sun finally coming out to say hi it only felt right to share ☀️

I hope it encourages you that there’s hope coming with the dawning of tomorrow.

Also, if you’ve not read my latest substack I share a bit about the beauty of spring and how it brings with it new hope. Link in my bio 🧡 by @enyo.music

I genuinely think we all need to get out more.

Not in a productivity or self-improvement kind of way, but because our souls were made to slow down long enough to notice beauty again.

Lately I’ve been realising how easy it is to live with our heads down, overwhelmed by the noise of the world and forgetting to notice the beauty still surrounding us.

Wrote a new piece on spring, holy noticing and the slow shift from merely “plodding along” into living with expectant hope again.

It was so much fun to make and we pray that it blesses you in your worship and gives words to your prayers. by @enyo.music

Some thoughts from my latest post on substack. I'm trying to be a little braver these days and I so will be sharing more of my poetry and unreleased songs, as well as reflections on faith, beauty and finding the sacred in our ordinary lives. I hope my little offerings can bring peace and hope wherever you are. 🧡

Also, honourable mention to @lucafogale for providing the soundtrack to every season of my life. Proof has been on repeat since I heard him sing it live a few months ago! 10/10 recommend you go and listen. 🥹 by @enyo.music
