Here’s a little more about what we do:

Kids Church
We meet weekly for Kids Church. We empower children by providing a safe and uplifting afterschool space where they can build strong friendships, embrace biblical truths, and grow confidently in their faith.

Tutoring
Each week, we come together for tutoring. Through homework help, literacy development, and introducing new topics, we offer academic support while fostering relationships that motivate, uplift, and equip the kids to pursue their goals.

A major goal of our organization is to expand our mentorship programs beyond kids church and tutoring. We would like to build off of our current foundation to provide additional resources in the realm of physical activity/health and nutrition, mental health, neighborhood improvement, and connections with families.

Do you find purpose in building meaningful relationships with children and playing a role in their journey toward achieving their dreams? Equip 352 is for you! We encourage you to join our GroupMe. We would love to hear from you! by @equip352uf

Finally, introducing our new volunteer coordinator !!! Maria❤️

Hi my name is Maria Eduarda and I’m a pre-PA Health Science major! I’m super grateful for the opportunity to volunteer with equip352! My favorite part about equip is just watching how the kids interact with each other and God’s word during kids church. Their pure hearted excitement to hear about God has been a huge blessing to me. It’s been such a gift to know and love these kids, and they genuinely pour into you as much as you pour into them. I look forward to continuing my involvement in equip, and I know the Lord has big plans for this program!

So excited to have you💚 by @equip352uf

Next is our new treasurer and social media director, Lilly Schneider!

Hi! My name is Lilly and I’m a second year advertising student with a passion for social impact campaigns and all that fun stuff! I adore Equip352 and it is truly an honor to give back to the Gainesville community and volunteer with the best kids! My favorite part is probably just the relationships I’ve gotten to build with the kids and just seeing their curiosity to learn more about Jesus, as well as overall getting to watch them grow!! Can’t wait for all of the exciting things to come💚💚 by @equip352uf

Introducing our new vice president Kirsten! 💚

Hi! My name is Kirsten Domineck, and I am a Health Science major on the pre-med track. I am so incredibly grateful to be a part of Equip352.

Over the past two summers, I had the privilege of working with kids at a local summer camp and preschool in my hometown, which I absolutely loved!! Coming back to Gainesville, I wanted to do something similar. This led me to Equip352 Kids Church. As much as we try to teach kids, we learn even more from the kids. We share experiences and watch each other grow up. In the presence of these kids, I am reminded of the beauty of having a childlike faith, enjoying the “little” things, and caring for people in heart and service. To embody the true love of Christ through building relationships and following His Word is unmatched. I am so excited to continue forming meaningful friendships and to pour into these kids, just as God has blessed me through His people throughout my life.

So excited to have you Kirsten🌷 by @equip352uf

Starting off the first of our new leadership intros is our EQUIP352 PRESIDENT!🌱

Hi! My name is Mia Vernon, and I’m a Family, Youth, and Community Sciences major with a concentration in Public Policy. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to volunteer with Equip352 since I first arrived in Gainesville.

Being able to share the love of Jesus and build genuine relationships with these kids week after week has been such a profound blessing. We always have so much fun celebrating holidays and playing games, but what I love most is simply talking with them and hearing about what’s going on in their lives. I have been blessed to have many people pour into me and I want to be someone these kids can count on to care about them!

I’m so excited to see what the Lord has in store for this program as it continues to grow in the future! by @equip352uf
