2 Day Harvest Sale Oct 24 & 25
10-2 both days
Miscellaneous Update

Nobody was immune to this seasons growing conditions .There were A few of our crops that suffered this year so we will have them Saturday and Sunday but in limited quantities .
Beets : Red beets in 2 lb bags -$5
5 lb bags - $9
Golden Beets - 2 lb bag sizes -$5

Onions: Our long keeping jumbo storage onions were a victim of the weather too.
Only some white and red onions that were on high ground produced. All bullshit aside folks, neither of these varieties are long term storage types so we only put them in 3,10 and 25 lb bags. We recommend using these up by Christmas but normally we store them with very little waste till early New Year.
3 lb bags $5
10 lb bags $14
25 lb bags $25.

Rutabaga : Jumbo size only -$1 lb.

@moonandmeadowflowerco will have some beautiful dried arrangements available as well

Unfortunately, we have now exhausted our supply of Flat head Cabbage other than a few heads but lots of the other varieties.

Don’t forget :
Cash, Visa , Mastercard payment options.
10-2 Saturday and Sunday

All local roads seem to suck right now . Sorry, but it’s something you have to experience regularly to be reminded of the tax money that vanishes .

See you this weekend! by @erdmannsgardens

So excited to feature some of my dried floral wreaths @erdmannsgardens two day harvest sale this weekend!

All florals were grown, picked and dried by yours truly this growing season. The wheat and oats featured are thanks to some local farmer friends. I've had so much fun experimenting with different colors and textures and hope you see something that you can picture in your home!

If you're looking to stock up on some great local produce and perhaps some dried florals to tie you over until next spring, head over to the farm at 59032 RR 233 in Westlock County from 10-2 on October 24th and 25th. by @erdmannsgardens

2 Day Harvest Stock Up Sale. Oct 24 & 25.
Let’s talk cabbage !

Our farm grows 6 varieties of cabbage. This time of year, we put 4 main varieties into storage and you get to choose depending on your end game .
-Flat cabbage : Cabbage rolls is where this one shines brightly. Thin leaves, pliable veins and a loose head has made this one of our most preferred varieties for this particular task.
Downfalls - not for kraut and not a particularly tasty sweet cabbage but SO good for rolls - just not Wendy’s choice .
$5-7 / head or $34 for a 40 lb sack.
-Blue Vantage : still a mid season .
Stores longer . Great for kraut, a bit more challenging for rolls. Good flavor but Can have curly leaves some years.
$5-7 head or $34 for a 50 lb sack
-Red Cabbage : nice to mix in with kraut or to add colour to a stir fry .
$5 head - not available in sacks
Celebrate : our most popular mid season variety . Stores well, usually a fairly big head. This one works good for rolls and kraut. One of the sweetest cabbages and is good for so many jobs but if you like fried cabbage - this is the one . Wendy’s choice for rolls and kraut.
$5-$7 /head or $34 for a 50 lb sack.

Keep in mind that once the farm store closes in August , you can still
get our veggies or if you can’t make it to

Time is ticking. This time last year we had our first frost of the season. Yes, it is the long weekend but now’s the time to get your veggies in the freezer, canned or pickled.
The Old Farmers Almanac says that Sept 5 & 6 are the best days this month to make your sauerkraut. Burn the midnight oil and git er done. Take a long weekend next month😉.
We’ll be at @stalbertfarmersmarket Saturday from 10-3 and @callingwoodmarketyeg on Sunday from 10-3 or you can buy yours online at :
