Operation Thorn 21"
Ziggurat Ignition Base 32"

Wood Fired, Soda Fired, and Gas Reduction.

We are working on having a modular launch system and dry fitting missiles to change each installation. The ziggurat was believed to be the threshold between earth and heaven. Poison Ivy confronts the male gaze and reclaims a weapon of destruction often fetishized. It seems every time I open my phone I'm seeing a new missile launch.

"Hail Eris"
21"x 9"

Eris has always loved to stir the pot. Hesiod said there are two kinds of strife. One cuts us down, sets neighbor against neighbor, and feeds on fear. The other pushes us to work, to question, to refuse the script. Mine leans hard toward the second.

This piece circles back to that wedding where Eris tossed the golden apple and forced the so-called gods to show their teeth. The bribes, the vanity, the backroom promises. Power choosing itself over everyone else.

Feels familiar. Especially watching the current administration slip into the same old apple-game of favors, optics, and quiet little deals. Eris wasn’t the villain. She just exposed how fragile the whole system really is.

Here’s to good trouble. And to the artists who keep throwing apples. by @erebos138
