Ran the @san_antonio_roadrunners Prickly Pear Run with the @evolvesocialwellness team backing me up this weekend. Thanks to @eric_the_earthrunner for hooking me up with my favorite running sandals that I wore for the 15k and @run_rickey_run for starting me down this trail. Thanks to @drinklmnt for the electrolytes. Do hard things my friends. It keeps paying off. by @eric_the_earthrunner

Happy birthday to my beautiful wife @izzzyboo33! You’re an amazing wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend to all those around you. Your caring spirit and positive outlook on life is what we need more of in this world. Thank you for balancing me, supporting me, and loving me. I am blessed I get to spend every day with you. I look forward to more adventures together. Hope your day is filled with love❤️❤️❤️ by @eric_the_earthrunner

Decide on a Sunday that you are going to run a 50k the next day. Call that one friend @eric_the_earthrunner that you know will be ready with no notice, and just go for it.

It turns out to be a really great adventure!

Trail running has become embedded in my soul. There is something really beautiful that unfolds when you are out there for miles and miles, allowing your mind and spirit to dance freely.

It helps me to bring clarity to all of the things that I carry as a man, a father, a husband and a leader.

Being able to have a place to unpack all of that is really special, and really powerful.

There have been days on the trail where I’m smiling one minute and sobbing the next, it hits you like a wave that you can’t stop. It’s like your mind, body and spirit know they are in a safe place and you just let it all go. It’s amazing!

I’m not really sure where I’m going with this rant 😂. But I do know this, Trail running has changed my life for the better, and I thank God for it everyday.

I share all of this because maybe this is your call to do something that challenges you. A call for you to find that thing that heals you and makes you the best version of you. Maybe it’s a call for you to put your feet on some trails and run wild and free.

There is so much magic out on the trails.

It’s where the world quiets just enough for you to hear the breath in your lungs and the beat in your heart.
It’s a place that breaks you down only to build you into a better you.
It comforts you when you need stillness, and it pushes you when you forget how strong you are.
It loves you back—with sunrises, rocky trails, and the songs of wind through trees.
It dances with you in the rain, in the mud, and under moonlight.
It challenges your body, your mind, your spirit—then reminds you why you showed up in the first place.
It shows you that you are capable. Worthy. Wild. Free.

🌲 *Running the trail is a blast. Running the trail in sandals is an even bigger blast…. but dancing on it? That’s where the healing begins.*
⁣
Every stride clears the mind. Every breath reminds us we’re alive.⁣
⁣
On the trail, we outrun the noise. We find peace in the climb, clarity in the sweat, and freedom in the wild.⁣
⁣
It’s not about speed—it’s about the joy. About moving not to escape life, but to fully feel it.⁣
⁣
So yes, run your heart out. But don’t forget to dance. Even if no one’s watching. Especially then. 💚

Get up and move! Glad I got up and moved this morning. When you do hard things you see growth. Push yourself to go beyond your limits and you will see why so many do!
