Happy Halloween Eve!! I know at least 3 of the 4 voice actors and authors in this edit are Anastasia fans (@clarissa.wild , don’t let me down 🤞), so I wanted to make a fun spooky season edit to this banger of a song! This is another mashup of two different books 🎃 @junedeborahae @author_e.e.star @corvin.king - this one’s for you guys 💃 I made this in like one day on Sunday, and it’s been the BIGGEST test of patience to wait until now to post it!! Sick Boys (book 1 in the Spine Ridge University series) is a dark why choose standalone romance written by Clarissa Wild, performed in dual narration by Desireé Ketchum and Corvin King, and is produced by @podiumentertainment The Violet Raven (book 1 in the Warriors of the Raven Queen series) is a historical Celtic fantasy romance written by E.E. Star and is performed in full cast duet by June deBorahae, James Joseph, John Hartley, J.F. Harding, & Robert Hatchet #Anastasia #audiobook #bookstagram #spookyseason #inthedarkofthenight by @erin10228
Spooky season continues! 🌹 For our latest Ohi-igan buddy listen, we decided to go with Deadly Nightshade! I read it last year for the BNA edits I made, and luckily, my friends were game to give it a listen this year. LOVE the Nightmare Before Christmas inspiration vibes in this book, and it’s such a good mix of dark and funny! Deadly Nightshade is a twisted dark romance novella by @billiejadekermackauthor and is performed in duet by @james.joseph.voice and @alyssaaverynarrates Produced by @bluenoseaudio #spookyseason #bookstagram #audiobook #nightmarebeforechristmas #darkromance by @erin10228
Spooooky season! After attending Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash this last week, Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake song IMMEDIATELY became stuck in my head!! I knew I wanted to make something using it, and when trying to think of a good book that would fit the vibe, Masked Marionette was the first that came to mind! In full honesty, I’ve struggled a lot with edit inspiration the last month or so, so I’m really happy that I’ve regained a bit of that spark from this trip! Hoping to post a couple more edits this week for Halloween 🎃 If you’re looking for a spooky and dark MM novella without an HEA before Halloween, look no further! Masked Marionette is written by @evolsenbooks and is performed by the ever talented @j.f.harding Produced by @bluenoseaudio #darkromance #bookstagram #spookyseason #noHEA #audiobook by @erin10228
Call Me Unhinged 🔪 For my plane ride home, I decided to make a mashup to show my appreciation for two very special authors to me and two extremely talented voice actors! One of my favorite memories of my trip this last week was driving (not me- I take the role of Passenger Princess VERY seriously) down the California roads and talking while listening to music that just fit the scenery perfectly, and those moments really had me in awe of where I was and enjoying who I was with. This song in particular was so impactful with the city lights at night shining like stars, so I wanted to use it in an edit that combined both books! @authorstephmacca, you beautiful soul, you! Thank you for making me part of your team and giving me an international family to belong to. I’ve loved helping in whatever way I can and doing my part to support the amazing stories you tell. Congrats again on the trad release of Unhinged!! @ja_roles_author, it was so nice to finally spend some real time together!! You definitely made my eyes leak on Wednesday night (happy tears!!) with your incredibly meaningful words, and thank you for loving the things I make, from the silly to the serious. @corvin.king, once again, you showed how kind, considerate, and down to earth you are. You have one of the biggest hearts around, and you deserve all of the happiness in the world. And caffeine. You deserve all of the caffeine, too. @therealjoearden, you never cease to inspire me creatively, and I’ll always be grateful for your part in my journey. You truly give 1000% to each and every character you embody like Dima and Damon, and any author would be lucky to have you as a voice actor in their book. Sorry for the giant copy 💀 I’m not sure the next time I’ll see any of you guys again, but you know I’m looking forward to whenever it is! Unhinged is written by Steph Macca and is performed in duet by Marie Hawkins, Corvin King, Joe Arden, and Anthony Palmini Call Me Freak is written by J.A. Roles and is performed in duet by Lucy Rivers and Joe Arden Both are book 1 in completed series produced by @bluenoseaudio #audiobook #bookstagram #darkromance #fyp #mashup by @erin10228
Stray is such a beautiful book, and I truly think it’s everyone involved’s best work. I recently got my coworker to listen, and I’ve loved hearing her reactions to this writing and performance 🖤 I just wanted to make something to show my love and appreciation for everything that DJ, Maxine, and Sean gave to this stunning book filled to the brim with lighthearted moments, spice, and emotions that rip your heart out, and I can’t wait for more Rowe Ranch! Stray is written by @djkrimmer 🖤 Performed in duet by @narratormaxine and @seanmastersaudio ❤️ Produced by @bluenoseaudio 💙 #audiobook #bookstagram #fyp by @erin10228
Now introducing- Pappy’s Papple Cider! 🍎🍐 So this video has been in the works for MONTHS, but it’s finally here!! All inspired from @corvin.king talking to @therealjoearden and @authorstephmacca about his experiences growing up with papple trees, and here we are now 🧑‍🩰 After requesting this audio from Joe and Corvin via Cameo, I then enlisted the assistance of some of the best voices around- @junedeborahae, @racheldanevo, and @shiloh_james_narrator - and they reacted to the audio like CHAMPS! Big thanks to all parties for playing along and bringing Pappy’s Papple Cider to thumbs 👍 This video could not have been possible without the generosity of Papple’s primary stakeholders! First, a special thank you to @neverblandbooks for designing the incredible Papples can 👩‍🎨 Additional Papple Props to: 🍎 @katy_1516_ 🍐 Jonesy 🍎 @kikibookdragon 🍐 @stephintoastory 🍎 @pa_next_chapter 🍐 @emo.after.reading 🍎 @kris793_audiobookaddict 🍐 @melissa.kay.reads 🍎 @aggressively_positive_heather 🍐 @sarah.marie.reads I hope you all enjoy the longest thumb video yet!! #papples #shoplocal #cameo #voiceacting #thumbs by @erin10228
Another book event down! 🤸‍♀️ I had a great time at Book Boyfriend Bash this last weekend in Midland, Texas! Always love seeing my friends, even for less than 48 hours 🫠 While I didn’t get to spend as much time with her as I wanted, I was most excited to finally meet @ja_roles_author ! Call Me Freak was one of my top books I read last year and has been an incredible source of inspiration for me 🖤 It was also incredible meeting @duran.troy ! I’ve loved his work in books like Writhe, so I was so happy to meet him and have him sign my book! Also always a great time seeing @corvin.king , @evelynm.author , @authorjenaisling , and @therealjoearden (loving the ever growing Boxcar & Thumbs series thanks to @skyler_elise ) 🖤 I took more pics than last time, so… an improvement? 😬 Friends- you rock, don’t change. ‘Til next time! #bookevent #bookboyfriendbash #itwastoodamnhot #uno #readingisfundamental by @erin10228
J.A. Roles’ Call Me Freak 🐦‍⬛ Here’s my second edit for this song! Call Me Freak is one of my favorite listens of 2025, and I wanted to make this edit as a little appreciation for the beautiful human that is J.A. Roles 🖤 I thought it would be a fun challenge to see how I could use the same song for two different books! Call Me Freak is book one of the Trauma Therapy Can’t Fix series by @ja_roles_author 🖤 Can’t wait to meet you soon!! Performed in duet by the incredible @therealjoearden and @akalucyrivers 🖤 Produced by @bluenoseaudio 💙 #darkromance #audiobook #bookstagram by @erin10228
Steph Macca’s Unhinged- Grey & Avery 🥀 I had such a greyt (🥁) time this weekend with the Team Macca crew, so I wanted to make a lil’ video for this special series! I asked Corvin for a song that he either listened to while recording Unhinged or that made him think of that series, and this was the song he shared! This song definitely isn’t the normal edit vibe I tend to go for with this series, but that only made me more excited to see what I could do with this edit. Thanks for the song rec! I also snuck in a little bloody lily in homage to the tattoo I got on Sunday for Lilydale! 💃 Side note- this song made me think of another book by another author I love, so that’ll be the next edit I make 🐦‍⬛ Unhinged is book one of the Dance With My Demons series by the lovely @authorstephmacca, and the complete series is out now in print, ebook, and audiobook! Why choose, asylum, superstar cast- you can’t go wrong 🔥 SPEAKING OF SUPERSTAR CAST, Unhinged is performed in multicast duet by @mariehawkinsnarrator, @corvin.king, Anthony Palmini, and Joe Arden 👏 Produced by @bluenoseaudio 💙 #knockknocklittlekiller #whychoose #audiobook #bookstagram #darkromance by @erin10228
Figured I’d do a little post with some highlights and memories from Sinners and Stardust this past weekend! First, I wanted to thank @authorstephmacca for being the whole reason why I got to go to this in the first place! I had the best time and couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to spend those days with. Thank you for being so nice, fun, caring, and supportive🫰We WILL ride a roller coaster together, wifey!! When I tell you the team were absolute rockstars, I mean it… and all while dealing with jet lag, too! Absolute icons that I loved working and hanging with 🐿️ The BIGGEST of shoutouts to @obsessed_with_books_and_coffee and @imagenhope for being absolute badasses 🔥 The way they just handled whatever needed to be handled and rolled with whatever came their way… slay. Can you please do events in America every other month? I can’t go that long without my mates!! 😭😭 There also was the one and only @corvin.king there! I really had the best time chatting about literally anything and everything with him, and he’s just an incredibly kind, hilarious, and genuine guy that’s so easy to talk to. Watch Noragami. And don’t forget papples if thus desired. U rock. Don’t change. HAGS. l8r sk8r. Kthxbye. I also got to meet the author whose books started the path that led me here! @opalreyne was an absolute delight, and those are still my gold standard of books for what I love! As for my friends, I’m so glad I got to see @runesandravage , @angeliquelostinink_ , @leanne_s_s , and @triciamjfinley (I still can’t believe how great that pic turned out!!). It’s always the best time being with you guys!! While it wasn’t a TOTALLY hiccup-free weekend, it still had some of the best moments and memories I’ll cherish, and I especially loved learning how much I enjoyed working the table! Definitely can’t wait for the next opportunity whatever and whenever it is with this crew, because it was a total dream team fur SURE 💃 Ezzy out ✌️ PS- picked this song because ‘MURICA and #horses . It felt right. #bookcon #sinnersandstardust #caesarsalad #theydontservebreakfastinhell by @erin10228
