What else do you guys bring in your dance bag? by @erin_wright_dance

I know I don’t show it because i’m a pro at masking and hiding my feelings but I was having an absolute battle with my own self confidence tonight. Massive imposter syndrome. Feeling like I have zero co-ordination, style or ability. I say all of this not as a pity party, feel sorry for me, give me compliments thaaang but because I know all my dance sisters have those days too and Instagram has a way of showing just the best bits… I’m not here just for the best bits… I’m here for the messy bits, the awkward nitty gritty bits.

@_cccrane and all the @supremestilettos gals bring me back home every week ❤️ thank you for being my safe space by @erin_wright_dance

Thought I’d create a training account. 5th session with @leanne_fernandez @battlebrandmedia. Think I need some appropriate clothing at this point 👀 I am literally the definition of all the gear and no idea. Actual bobble hat but IDGAF

@miss_watson16 @iconic_visualsanddance really said syncopation today. Loved the challenge even if I didn’t dance it how I’d have liked to. by @erin_wright_dance

Thank you for filming these @miss_watson16 @iconic_visualsanddance here’s proof that class happened because honestly I’m terrible for not thinking to get my phone out 🤣I could have made this video 4 mins long to capture it all.

Let’s just ignore me losing my balance mmhmmmm 😏✌️ by @erin_wright_dance

Unhinged freestyle studio session. Music and dancing will always be my therapy. I was supposed to be choreographing but my brain and body obviously just wanted to dance it out after 3 days of putting so much pressure on myself to be technically correct. by @erin_wright_dance

Body confidence pt 2!
I can’t get over these gorgeous women!
Thank you so much for sharing your energy and your Monday evening with me! ❤️ by @erin_wright_dance

If you love to dance in heels but sometimes feel like you’re concentrating so hard on how to do the moves that you can’t fully enjoy the choreo, or if you’ve seen videos online and desperately want to be able to dance like that but even the beginner choreography looks too challenging… then this class is for you.

Starting Tuesday 6 October, I’m teaching heels technique in Peterborough. I’ve spent a lot of time putting together a syllabus that makes sure we build the skills and cover the fundamentals that go into dancing in heels: balance, posture, lines, flexibility, conditioning, floorwork, turns and more.

You can expect most of each class to be focused on technique, with time to work on the details and build confidence step by step. We’ll finish with a short piece of choreography that brings together and practises the techniques we’ve covered that day.

You don’t need any dance experience to join. This is great for complete beginners and entry-level dancers who want to build a foundation, as well as existing dancers who want to improve their technique and feel more confident in their movement.

This isn’t a replacement for choreography classes; it’s there to support them. When the technique starts to feel more natural, you can spend less time thinking about how to execute each movement and more time enjoying the choreography, the music and the way you choose to dance it.
