GUESS WHAT?!?! ⁣
⁣
I designed die sets of my moth patterns for @benziedesign !! It was truly a dream come true and I’ve wanted to show off what I was working in for 𝙎𝙊 𝙈𝘼𝙉𝙔 𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙃𝙎!! Now you can easily make your own moths with your die cutting machine and these wonderful deep etched dies. ⁣
⁣
The dies come with so many pieces you can mix and match too, so get both sets to make your own custom moths-you won’t regret it! I also wrote very thorough instructions on how to assemble the many little pieces that come with each set over on the @benziedesign blog. ⁣
⁣
I am over the moon with how these turned out and I cannot wait to see YOUR custom made moths! Please tag me in your creations so I can see what you make! The pictures you all send me really make my day 💖⁣
⁣
I even have color palettes in their Bellwether 100% wool felt if you just want to make the moths exactly as you see them here! The first two pictures are taken by me, but the rest are from the Benzie website ☺️ They did such a magnificent job styling my moths to look all Benzi-fied gorgeous with their delicious wool felt colors! I am so excited to finally share this with you! ⁣
⁣
I’ve wanted to design metal dies for a long time and couldn’t believe it when I got the chance. They turned out so well and are 𝘚𝘖 𝘔𝘜𝘊𝘏 𝘍𝘜𝘕 to work with!! Now I’m going to start making even more off the wall moths with these dies and mix and match the pieces. Stay tuned for more inspiration! ⁣

Go to the @benziedesign page for the whole shebang and all the details! ⁣

To hold in my hands feels like pure magic. Thanks @someb_ooks it’s amazing. by @erinpaisley

Hey it’s been a while! I finally made something new with the help of a sweet local man. I am going to have laser etched heads for sale, along with my kits for making your own ornaments. I have a very limited supply of these heads, and they take the guesswork out of drawing the most basic, but scariest lines to draw! They are all based on this sweet face they are surrounding. You just fill them in with your colors of choice. The laser if isn’t perfect, and neither are my drawings, so they will still all have that very handmade look to them. I’m very excited about this and I love how they turned out. Tell me, is this something you’d be interested in seeing more of? by @erinpaisley

Hi there. Still around. by @erinpaisley

This took over my life for a good few weeks, I’m happy it’s out of my hands now. Made for my animal cousin. Used scraps from my own wedding dress.⁣

I wanted to add our song, in the aeroplane over the sea, by neutral milk hotel, but it’s not available. Then I thought I’d add the song our friend Amos sang just before I walked down the aisle, the book of love by magnetic fields, but it’s not available. Then I thought I’d add the song our friend Eric sang as I walked down the aisle, green is the color, by Pink Floyd(he asked Kevin what color my eyes were, then asked if he could play and sing this one…how beautiful, thank you Eric), so finally this one stuck. by @erinpaisley

I’m trying to journal more…⁣

I found this stamp at Michael’s in their dollar section YEARS ago, probably over a decade, and immediately thought how hilarious it would be to use it for blamey purposes. But I had little kids, was disorganized, and thought if I did a thing it would be stupid and useless(how silly). Well I found it again, so today is the day! And it’s perfect timing because my kids are old now, I’m bored, and I don’t give a shit about the other stuff. I wanna do what I wanna do and all I wanna do is stupid and useless ON PURPOSE. I’m stamping a bunch and filling them in as inspiration strikes 💁🏼‍♀️💅🏻 by @erinpaisley

Sorry for this boring post, but I want to know why more people aren’t making super scrappy jelly roll rugs? I mean I’m sure they are, and good for them for living offline, but I scoured Pinterest and Instagram searching for what I wanted to make and I came up with nothing, so I’m posting this here. ⁣
⁣
It CAN be done, past Erin. It’s a pain to iron all those seems open, and I’m not even sure it’s necessary, but put on a good book and get to it. It’s so easy. It stays flat. It cost me the price of that jelly roll rug clover tool that was totally worth it. (15 bucks?) ⁣
⁣
The scraps were a mixture of mine, but mostly given to me, and the batting was also from scraps my mom gave me. Now I want to make another, because my goodness, I have too many scraps! ⁣
⁣
That’s all to say I’m still here making stuff, just not the stuff I should be making. But I’m thinking of having another huge studio sale because I kind of want to just start over. It’s been too long. I feel stagnant. That’s a story for another post though..⁣

I hope in all that’s going on, you can find some joy, some comfort, and some wonder. Lord knows I’m trying. Happy Spring, happy Easter, happy anything else worth celebrating. It’s always worth celebrating. by @erinpaisley

Hey everyone: life is sad, life is a bust/ all you can do is do what what you must/ do what you must and you do it well/ I do it for you, honey baby can’t you tell? ⁣
⁣
I made you a new video to calm your nerves, help you escape for 44 minutes to soft tinkly piano music, and learn a few new fun things about simple doll making. ⁣
⁣
Please watch, if you want to see more, subscribe, and if you have questions, comment! It helps me out a lot and it’s all freeeeeeeee to do! by @erinpaisley

Hey I finally kinda got my act together and I’m coming at you @mkedestashevent_thebrickyard this Sunday! My kind of de-stashing is KITS. I will have lots of kits and maybe some à la carte doll making supplies.⁣ Sorry, no dolls, ceramics, or older prints like I was hoping. These kits took a lot more energy than I expected, but I’m very excited about them.
⁣
Kits will include a card with QR codes to the pattern for you to print at your leisure and video instruction, 100% cotton pipe cleaners, vintage chenille stems, a wooden head, and the clothing will be cut out, but not sewn. Pattern instructions contain my heads pattern(same as SuperBods, but with updated supply list), and dress templates. ⁣
⁣
After the show I will have a limited number(for now) of kits online and I will make the video I made for these kits public over on my yootoobs(please subscribe!). ⁣
⁣
These kits were made specifically to let go of my vintage chenille stem collection, of which there is a finite number…but I have plans for when these run out too. by @erinpaisley
