The overseas winner @womeninartprize__ 2024 Sofia Ruiz is a Latin American artist born in San Jose, Costa Rica.At the age of 16 she initiates in art, In 2000 she decides to enter the School of Fine Arts in CR, majoring in Painting and Printmaking in 2007. She is also a Master in Education and has won several national and international art awards. She had participated in several international residencies from USA to South Korea and in more than 35 exhibitions in Galleries and museums.
