I’ve always said this is a temperamental spot and now you can see why …

13th Jan Vs 13th Feb what a difference a month can make!

Wearing @thebendybrand ✨

Spot the cat 🐱

I love the challenge of creating a combo that looks good from this angle. It’s surprising the things you think will look impressive actually don’t.

Octopus tripod (bendy legs) is all you need, attached to the pole and shoot in wide angle 😉

Also the trick is to watch the pole and the dancer not the spinning room 😵‍💫😂
… helpful tip for when you’re on the pole as well 😉

Combo from 2 weeks ago, stories always sees it first lol.
An old love trick and transition in there. Things I had to work hard for a while ago and are now a joy to move through 😌

I have the urge less and less to post to my grid.
The longer I leave it the harder it is to upload again 🙈!

Instagram has changed, I know we’ve all been saying that for a while now. It doesn’t feel safe to post pole content, instagram flags you for everything 😵‍💫

I also feel silly and self indulgent posting long ass combos. It’s doesn’t feel like what instagram is about anymore. Content that isn’t ’trending’ or educational, short combos, or single tricks just get’s buried in the algorithm.

It’s easy to lose touch with your community, it just doesn’t feel the same as it once did.

Instagram has always been my pole diary and it will always continue to be that. Training long combos, working on flow and transitions has always been a way to lose myself in movement.
My content will probably never change because my training will stay the same 🤷‍♀️

I tried the last few days to catch up on my pole communities posts, and it made me feel more connected to you all again 🫶

As always, thanks for coming to my ted talk 😂

Ok I promise this is the last time I tag you in this trick @terra_lontana_ 😂

If you didn’t already know inspo from ☝️💛

So this is the 4th time training this trick inside of this combo, and I’m now calling it done!

I have to stop because I’m at the point of picking it apart instead of enjoying it. Not a healthy place to end up, nothing is EVER going to be perfect from this head space 😵‍💫
I am abandoning an exit plan, strategy, technique, we just slide down safely at this point 😆!

I’m also at the point where I have other ideas for this combo and want to start changing it… I have this delulu notion I can enter this trick in reverse 😬

I worked out why I kept having wardrobe malfunctions getting into this trick (🫣🐱). I slide down a lot, and the top of my shorts gets stuck. So to avoid huge frustration to you if you try this, I recommend LARGE shorts!

You might not need them BUT there’s nothing worse than getting it, and it’s too X rated to share 😂!

Instagram already hates us let’s not add fuel to that fire lol 😜 by @es_hess

From my story a couple of weeks ago ✨

Iguana shape inspiration from @majogomez.ch 🙏

I have to say in the moment I felt hella twisty in this shape … and then I watched it back 😂
Like twisting a metal rod 🤔

The shape is contortion level and I always fail to remember I am not at that level 😬 lol

Revisited this other bendy shape (at the end, anyone know its name yet??) feels less like bending metal and maybe more like bamboo now 🤷‍♀️
They transitioned perfectly together *chefs kiss*

The one arm spin at the start took me completely by surprise, I had no intention of grabbing the pole from behind 😆! It was fun though so definitely one to book in for a revisit 🙌

Every time I train hammock I come back to this combo,
and I have to relearn it every time 🤣

I can’t remember if it’s the first time I’ve posted this 🤔

Inspired by @cynthia_poledancer ✨🙏

Potentially it’s my longest work in progress ever 😆💁‍♀️

Always so much to learn with you @lilithaerial @levitatepoleaerial I love this space (and the food afterwards 😋) 💛 by @es_hess

DollHouse by @iconicevents.au

Never forcing you inside.
Never letting you leave.

It was such a wonderful opportunity to perform in this show, alongside such talented artists.

The nerves hit hard on the day, but I had the best time on stage! The audience and vibe was electric 🙌

I think if my whole pole identity could be 2 things it’d be a reverse elbow hold (lefty only 😌) and a sickle foot 👏 (left for upside down, either for upright).
I have favourites, I don’t care 😝

Attempted the trending (I think it is?) #pdreversetitanic today, and ahhh it wasn’t as straightforward as instagram lead me to believe 😅

Anyway this is my version, kinda sorta is, kinda not, the blueprint is there lol

Made a mirror combo with a kinda sorta upright version of the same shape 🙌

Serious question… how does one keep one’s pants in place in a titanic?? It goes from PG to M very quickly if you aren’t careful 😆

Fair warning this entry gives a lot of yeeeeeet 😵‍💫

I actually got maybe a little too much in this run through, got it done though, just 😅

I’ve been playing around with these twisty sail boat shapes off and on for a bit now. I love putting them together in a combo, there’s something satisfying about the mirroring. The upright one is challenging, it’s deceptively bendy!

Attempted again this cool invert, non invert 😂
I don’t think my last post did it justice, it looked too much like an invert, when it’s not really an invert 🤔

Inspired again by the beautiful @terra_lontana_ 🙏💛

The last shape out of the upside down sail boat, WOW my body was not prepared!
I thought ‘Yeah simples got this in the bag 👏’ ….
I should really know by now that nothing Alicia posts is ever simples, it’s hards and it’s definitely bendy!

My spine has been rung out like a rag, but I love it 😏 by @es_hess

This has been a fun challenge over my last 3 training sessions 🫠
I posted this lift at the start, last Friday. I thought it would get easier… I was so wrong 😂
The next time I tried, crickets - zilch, zip, zero 🙅‍♀️

Today was better, but I had to work for it …
🎶 You better work, bitch🎶

I tried a true grip option which works but it’s not as smooth. This is not a trick to overtrain, it is heavy on the shoulder 😮‍💨

This is more or less the combo I had in mind since last week. I wish I could have done it a few more times to finesse a few parts, but my entire body said no 😂

There isn’t a lot to it, but there is a lot of work in it! So much concentration to flex/point and so much intention to slow the fcuk down!

I really like to go slow I’ve decided 🐌

Tagging again from my story last week ; @chloeandersonpole (lift to handstand) & @hedwigshackle_pole (rotation to invert) - Thank you for the inspiration beautiful dancers 🙏💛 by @es_hess

Thank you @terra_lontana_ for the inspiration and sending me your training video 🙏!
You are a beautiful Queen 😘

Alicia posted this transition at the start to her story, yesterday 🤔 immediately I was screen recording!
Can confirm much harder than it looks 😂

Mine changed a bit from the original, I still want to explore that one more but I ended up here lol.
You can’t fight what the pole wants 🫶

Sadly this is not my cleanest attempt, BUT it was the attempt that got all the things in I wanted… so here we are 👉👈

*there will be a fails compilation coming shortly to my story 😉

My issue became a height thing, I couldn’t go into a split grip Ayesha because I lost so much pole height.
So I went with a forearm Ayesha, then all the things I wanted needed more height, and now I’m suddenly aerial 🤷‍♀️😂

There are a lot of fun ways to enter and exit this, plus the movement through, definitely worth a play if you’re game 🧩

The end swimmer, pretzel shape was a little explore of my own. I desperately wanted to do the split shape from the other day, but my body said no and for once I listened 🙄🥱 by @es_hess
