I'm Ess and this is my photography account 📸😊 I take photos of nature mostly and what you see is what you get; I don't alter my photos in any way 🥰

Hello and welcome to my photography account! 📸💖 I will be sharing my own photographs of nature from my day to day life. I prefer close-up photos on the whole but do occasionally deviate 😁 I use my phone or a budget Canon camera to take my photos, and I don't edit or alter them in any way. I hope you enjoy 📸🥰

This is a perennial seed head from my garden. I've scoured the web but can't remember what it's called!! It has red droopy flowers in early spring, and after the petals drop, the seed heads remain for weeks. They are so pretty I wait until they die back before cutting them down 🌸🏵️🌺 If anyone knows what they are I'd love to know! 💖

I've had a little break from Instagram so here is a hebe flower to celebrate my return 🥳 This hebe plant has sulked all through the summer but has perked up since the weather has cooled off, a bit like me really 🤭

One of a gazillion Michaelmas Daisies on a bush we were gifted a few years ago. I love how the plant goes from green to purple in a matter of days! 💜💛💜

For those of you who follow my other account, you may have noticed my reference to the crazy amount of Osteospermum plants I ordered months ago.... I've had to baby them through all kinds of weather conditions, but finally, we have flowers! 🥳🎊😁

We've been away for 10 days and came back to Death Valley aka our garden yesterday 🥵 We lost a few plants due to the lack of rain here but this Phlox was a happy pop of colour 🌸🌺

Our first marigold flower of 2026! My father in law passed on some marigold plants a week or 2 ago and I was so chuffed to see a flower open yesterday 🌼💛🌼

These are flowers from an oregano plant in our garden 🌱 Every year I totally forget that the lighter coloured flowers will come, and I always have a nice surprise when they start to appear 💜🌸
