Blake Morgan’s arrangement of “Shall We Gather at the River” is, in my opinion, simply a masterpiece of choral music, and the way these guys nailed it left me simply speechless. 🤯

The hymn dates back to 1864, written by Robert Lowry on a sweltering July day in Brooklyn, and has remained an American classic ever since. Under the direction of Dr. Alan Stevens, the ETSU Chorale takes it to a whole new level.
What’s the finale that moves you every time?

How do we think he did? 👀 by @etsuchorale

“Tykus Tykus” is based on an old Lithuanian folk tune, a story about a young man who sweeps a girl off her feet, then rides off to war instead of marrying her. Vaclovas Augustinas turned it into this piece in 2010, and it won first prize out of over 80 submissions at Lithuania’s national choral composition competition that same year.

ETSU Chorale, recorded live at the Tennessee Music Education Association All State Conference, brings a level of energy here that honestly feels unstoppable!
What’s the piece that goes from zero to a hundred the fastest for you?
