“A child’s starting point in life does not determine their finish line.”

Agnes grew up watching potential go to waste. She refused to be another story of what could have been.

Today she’s a founder, a scholar, a policy advocate, and a bridge, for every young person in her community who deserves a real shot at their future.

In partnership with Buoyant Youth Foundation (Agnes Etuah) and Learn To Read Foundation (Rejoice Adzivor) Women Changemakers for Education supported a vibrant leadership and literacy event at Tomefa Kofe M/A Basic School. Through mentorship sessions, fun activities, and the donation of school supplies, including 55 storybooks and essentials for 105 underserved girls. The project inspired confidence, boosted academic enthusiasm, and celebrated the power of education.

When girls are seen, supported, and encouraged, their futures expand, and so do their communities.

I served as a Secretary for the Caribbean and Americas region at the @model_commonwealth_summit 2025. We won the Best Regional Bloc🎉❤️. This role was a profound exercise in collaborative leadership and geopolitical negotiation, focusing on climate change’s existential threat to Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in the Caribbean. My primary responsibility alongside my co-leaders was to chair two critical engagement sessions:

1. Collective Actions for Climate Resilience and Disaster Preparedness: We explored strengthening regional bodies like CARICOM & CDEMA, advocating for collective negotiation to secure accessible climate finance, and implementing harmonized policies.

2. Facilitating Partnerships for Disaster Resilience and Recovery: We discussed leveraging the Commonwealth’s network to facilitate technology transfer, expertise, and resource mobilization between Caribbean nations and American partners.

The summit included cultural immersion activities, such as touring Ghana’s National Museum and visiting Zonda Tec Ghana, providing valuable context to our diplomatic efforts. Key learnings included mastering constructive disagreement, active listening, and effective facilitation. True leadership in multilateral settings is about empowering diverse voices to tackle global challenges collectively. by @etuahagnes

The Student Performance Elevation Program (SPEP ) recognizes that academic performance is influenced not only by classroom teaching, but also by access to learning materials, adequate nutrition, emotional support, positive role models and exposure to career possibilities. The program is therefore combining educational resources with food support, mentorship, wellbeing and career guidance. by @etuahagnes

I volunteered as a facilitator at Ubuntu.Lab Institute for its Transformative Leadership Programme in partnership with @mastercardfoundation . The program offers you the opportunity to deepen your learning to lead profound transformation of self, organization and society in a modern-day context.

The objective is to co-create Africa’s future.
It was a five months hybrid program.
I hosted a hub in Apam, Ghana and trained fellow young ladies of @camfed Association, Gomoa West District on leadership, knowing yourself, pitching your idea, identifying and solving a problem in your community.

The program had hubs in other Africa countries as well which constituted over 800 participants .
One of my mentees got selected as one of the top 11 out of over 800 participants across Africa to receive a seed fund to implement a sustainable project in her community and she’s the first Ghanaian to reach this milestone since the program’s inception under my leadership.

Now, from “ Priscilla Adu WILL…” to “Priscilla Adu IS…” offering entrepreneurship skills for young ladies in her community.

The young ladies are being trained on;

-Braiding
-Wig making
-Make-up
-And beads-making by @etuahagnes

I stood up, being resilient and buoyant. I was honored to be invited by @camfed -Ghana to speak at the 2026 Tertiary Convening at @knust.gh , Kumasi - in front of my vibrant sisterhood who now sit where I once sat. I was born and raised in Apam, the only girl among three brothers. Since I was a child, I loved two things: reading and serving. I first met @camfed in basic school.
Because I was the school prefect, I was called to observe and give the vote of thanks when beneficiaries received their learning-support packages. In senior high school , it was announced: “All girls from Gomoa, go to the assembly hall.” Some girls were shy of their community and stayed seated. I stood up.

That single act of standing up changed my life. In that hall was the CAMFED representative I remembered Weeks later, I heard my name - “Agnes Etuah” - selected. That day, I became refreshed and very happy. @camfed gave us more than items. They gave us Teacher Mentors, leadership training, grooming, career guidance and the culture of giving back. That seed led me to the @univofgh to study BA Health Services Administration and Psychology as a @mastercardfoundation scholar at @camfed -Ghana. Today, that little girl who watched from the side is:
- An out-going General Secretary, Gomoa West CAMA -Founder, @buoyant_future_foundation -empowering young people through education, digital literacy, mentorship, mental health and entrepreneurship.
-Partnered with the MP for Gomoa West / Deputy Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Rural Coders Society (USA) and GIFEC-Gomoa to run the Code Without Borders Bootcamp that trained youth in website development and excel -Global Shaper( @worldeconomicforum ), ambassador at @pkaleadershipfoundation , Bloc secretary for Caribbean and Americas region of the @model_commonwealth_summit 2025, -Winner - Leaderboard, We Give Summit 2026 at @philanthropytogether and engine room champion at @ourfutureagenda under @unfoundation .
