Chet Baker's solo on "Do It the Hard Way"—that was the answer to the Halloween contest, and @r__mon__ won! It's one of my absolute favorite solos, featuring a beautiful scat. I always recommend to my students that you transcribe a solo by ear by singing it first, and only learn it on your instrument once it's fully internalized. Even if it takes a bit more time than just reading sheet music, the solo integrates much better this way and will naturally resurface in your improvisation in the long run. #jazzscat #chetbaker #jazzsolo #jazzvoice by @eva.slongo.jazzviolin

🎶 EN THIS PHOTO IS NOT THE END Yesterday afternoon, Málaga Manouche 2026 said goodbye to Frigiliana. By now, everyone is either back home or on their way. But this photo doesn't mark the end. Not even close! It's been three incredibly intense days of music, learning, sharing, reunions and new friendships. Three days packed with moments we don't want to leave behind just yet. We've got plenty of photos, videos and memories to share over the coming weeks, so we can keep spreading the manouche bug and make Málaga Manouche 2026 feel like it's still going strong! To be continued! 🎶 #MalagaManouche2026 #MalagaManouche #JazzManouche #GypsyJazz #Frigiliana by @eva.slongo.jazzviolin
