HOW TO PAIR COLORS IN YOUR HOME ⤵️

1. Pick your main color🌄
Choose 1–2 colors you love and build your room around them.

2. Find your color pairings
Use the color wheel! Opposite colors (like blue + orange) create contrast, while neighboring colors (like pink + red) create a cohesive look.

3. Add a grounding neutral🍂
Think warm wood, cream, black, or brown. These balance brighter colors without making everything millennial beige.

4. Follow the 60-30-10 rule
60% dominant color
30% secondary color
10% accent color

Use this as a starting point, not a strict rule.

5. Repeat your colors
Bring each color into 2–3 places throughout the room. This makes everything feel intentional rather than randomly collected.

6. Stop following the rules
These are guidelines, not laws. If you love it, it works. Your home isn’t a Pinterest board audition.
