Some of us find our rhythm on a morning walk. Others come alive when their favourite song comes on. And some of us feel happiest tending to our plants or stretching quietly at the end of a long day.

The beautiful thing about movement? It doesn't have to look a certain way to feel good.

Sometimes, it's dancing in the kitchen while the food cooks. Sometimes, it's taking a walk to clear your head. And sometimes, it's simply stretching your body after hours of sitting at work.

Movement isn't just about exercise. It's also about finding little moments that help you feel connected to yourself.

So, let's hear from you!

What kind of movement makes you feel most like yourself?

✔ Walking
✔ Dancing
✔ Stretching
✔ Gardening
✔ Running
Or something else entirely?

Tell us in the comments! Your favourite way to move might inspire someone else to find theirs.

Remember, every little step counts. Find what feels good, enjoy the moment, and give yourself grace along the way.

Can we talk about the daily question that somehow never gets old?

“Mummy, what are we eating today?”

And you're there thinking about what is left in the kitchen, what the children will actually eat, today's market prices and how to make everything work until the next shopping trip.

Honestly, feeding a family takes more planning than people give it credit for!

Sometimes, the smartest meal plan isn't about trying new recipes or buying everything you see online. It's knowing what your family enjoys, making the most of what you already have and finding little ways to add variety without putting too much pressure on your pocket.

And please, let's normalise simple meals! A pot of beans, yam and egg sauce, or rice with a delicious homemade stew can bring everyone to the table happily.

You don't need a picture-perfect kitchen to make thoughtful choices for your family. ❤️

We've put together a few practical ideas to help you plan family meals with your budget in mind. Swipe through, and let's learn from one another!

Let's learn from one another!

What's one meal you can prepare for your family that is affordable, filling and always gets a good reception at the table?

Drop it in the comments. Let's build a little community recipe book together!

Because in many Nigerian homes, food is more than food. It's how we show love. It's the extra piece of fish saved for someone. It's the pot of soup that feeds everyone, including the unexpected visitor!

But here's a little question: when we prepare our favourite meals, do we think about how well they nourish us, too?

A balanced meal doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. It's about bringing different food groups together.

Here are a few everyday tips worth remembering:

✔ Rice and stew? Consider adding beans, fish, eggs or a side of vegetables to bring more variety to the meal.

✔ Beans and plantain? Beans provide protein and fibre, while plantain provides energy. Adding vegetables or enjoying some fruit during the day can contribute to a more varied diet.

✔ Eba and soup? Your soup can contribute vegetables and protein, depending on the ingredients. Ugu, okra, fish and beans are all useful additions.

✔ Fruit is not just for decoration! A piece of orange, pawpaw, watermelon or banana can be a practical snack. Choose what's available and affordable.

✔ Here's one we sometimes overlook: the seasoning cubes, salt and salty sauces we add while cooking all contribute to our sodium intake. Flavourful food doesn't have to mean excessive salt.

✔ And water deserves a place in the conversation. It's easy to remember breakfast, lunch and dinner but forget to drink enough water throughout the day.

One more thing: you don't have to make every meal perfect. Start with what you already cook. Add a vegetable here, include beans there, try a different fruit when it's in season.

Small changes can make healthy eating feel more achievable for the whole family.

Let's share ideas!

What's one affordable food you always have at home that helps you put together a nourishing meal? Someone in this community might discover their next meal idea from your comment!

Let's settle a little family debate!

Every family has that one meal that never gets old. Monday? They're happy to eat it. Friday? Still excited!

Whether it's jollof rice and chicken, a steaming pot of egusi soup and swallow, beans and plantain, or your family's special homemade recipe, some meals just feel like home.

Now, we're curious!

What's ONE meal your family could eat every single week and never get tired of? 👇🏽

Dear men, this month, we'd like to remind you of something: your well-being matters, too. ❤️

We know life can ask a lot of you.

The pressure to provide. The responsibility of being a father, husband, son, brother or friend. The expectations to stay strong, keep going and somehow have everything figured out.

And sometimes, in the middle of showing up for everyone else, looking after yourself takes a back seat.

But who checks on the man who checks on everyone?

Who asks how he's really doing? Not just how work is going, or whether the bills are paid, but how he feels, how he's coping and whether he's taking care of himself.

This November, we're making room for those conversations.

Conversations about men's health, emotional well-being, preventive care and the little things men sometimes find difficult to talk about.

Because being strong doesn't mean being silent. Asking questions isn't weakness. And taking care of yourself isn't selfish.

Healthy Men. Healthy Families.

Here's to creating a world where every man feels seen, heard, supported and encouraged to prioritise his well-being.

And to the women, children, friends and families who love them, let's keep checking in, listening and making space for honest conversations.

So, let's start here: When last did you genuinely ask a man in your life, "How are you, really?"

Welcome to November. Let's talk. ❤️

Your heart does so much for you. When was the last time you checked in on it?

It keeps beating through the busy mornings, the Lagos traffic, the long hours at work, the school runs, the laughter with friends, and the quiet moments with the people you love.

Yet, in the middle of everything life demands, it's easy to forget about the little organ that works tirelessly for us. ❤️

This World Heart Day, let's change that.

Did you know that cardiovascular diseases caused an estimated 19.8 million deaths worldwide in 2022? Many cardiovascular conditions can be prevented or managed through healthier everyday habits and timely medical care.

Caring for your heart doesn't have to begin with a dramatic lifestyle change. Sometimes, it starts with the little things:

• Adding more fruits and vegetables to your meals.
• Taking a walk, dancing to your favourite song, or finding a way to move more each day.
• Being mindful of how much salt goes into your food.
• Checking your blood pressure, even when you feel perfectly fine.
• Following your prescribed treatment and keeping up with your health appointments.

Here's something worth remembering: high blood pressure often has no obvious symptoms. Feeling fine doesn't always mean everything is fine, which is why regular checks matter.

And please, listen to your body. Sudden chest discomfort, difficulty breathing, or other possible signs of a heart attack require immediate medical attention.

You deserve to live a full, joyful life, and caring for your heart is one way to keep showing up for the moments that matter.

This World Heart Day, don't miss a beat. Make time for your heart.

Now, tell us: when was your last blood pressure check? Let's encourage one another in the comments.

Dear parents, we see all the little things you do.

The lunchboxes you pack. The meals you prepare, even when your little one suddenly decides their favourite food is no longer their favourite. The endless reminders to eat well, drink water, and get ready for school.

Sometimes, caring for your children means paying attention to the little things that make a difference in their everyday lives.

That's why MULTIVITE Syrup is a trusted name in family wellness.

With vitamins A, B, C, D and Nicotinamide in a delicious raspberry-flavoured syrup, Multivite offers nutritional support for children's daily vitamin needs, all in one convenient formulation.

And that lovely raspberry flavour? It makes the daily routine a little more enjoyable!

Because caring for your little ones isn't about getting everything perfect. It's about showing up, one little act of love at a time.

A rainy day is lovely. Malaria? Not so much.

Picture this: the rain is falling, the children have school in the morning, work is waiting, and then someone at home starts feeling unwell.

Suddenly, the plans for the day look very different.

During the rainy season, mosquitoes can find more opportunities to breed, making malaria an important health concern for families. And when someone becomes ill, the last thing any parent wants is extra stress around taking their prescribed treatment.

That’s why we believe malaria care should come with the right information and treatment options.

Meet RAVIMAL by Evans Baroque Ltd. - an antimalarial available in formulations designed with both adults and children in mind.

Why families and caregivers appreciate the options:

For children: Dispersible tablets with a delicious pineapple flavour, making administration easier for little ones.

For adults: Convenient, easy-to-swallow caplets.

For your peace of mind: A treatment option to discuss with a qualified healthcare professional when malaria is diagnosed.

Remember, malaria symptoms can resemble other illnesses. Get tested promptly if you suspect malaria, and use antimalarial medicines as directed by a qualified healthcare professional.

Let’s take malaria seriously, look out for one another, and make informed health decisions this rainy season.

Looking for RAVIMAL? Ask for it at pharmacies nationwide.

Have questions or need further clarification? Send us a DM, chat with us on WhatsApp, or call +234 901 020 0000. We’re happy to help.

Here’s to healthier families and more days spent doing the things that matter.

Dear friend, here’s your Sunday reminder: YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️

Not because of what you’ve achieved. Not because of how much you do for others. But simply because you are you.

We know life can get busy. Sometimes, you spend so much time showing up for everyone else that you forget to check in with yourself.

So, today, take a deep breath. Rest without guilt. Smile at the little things. Give yourself the same kindness you so freely give to others.

You matter. Your happiness matters. Your wellbeing matters.

From all of us at Evans Baroque, we hope your Sunday brings you peace, warmth, and a gentle reminder that you are never just what you do for others. You are someone worthy of love and care, too.

What’s one little thing you’ll do for yourself today? Let’s share some Sunday kindness in the comments.
