Pride isn't one month out of the year. It's every moment of being fully, unapologetically yourself. AND isn't June so much fun?! 😎🏳️‍🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜✨🎉🎉🎉 Here are just a few frames from the 2025 @pbopridenc celebration "Live The Story." I have unfortunately been sidelined by some unexpected health issues for over a year, and it sadly also sidelined a lot of my work as well. Joyfully though, the full gallery from Friday and Saturday of last year's celebration will be online this weekend! Just in time to remind you about PBO Pride 2026! This year's celebration will be October 17th & 18th at @theplantnc and I'm so glad your face won't be melting off in your photos! (Well, not like it does in June photos anyway)! Pittsboro and Chatham County have only had 3 official Pride celebrations y'all! October 2026 will be just our 4th annual celebration and let me tell you, in the last 3 years we have made up for some lost time! Join the beautiful fun and celebration of "Rooted & Rising" at this year's PBO Pride celebration on October 17th and 18th, 2026! There will be something for everyone and I cannot wait to celebrate with this beautiful community once again! ❤️ #happypride #love #pridemonth #pbopride #pride2026 by @everylightphotography
We're at it again! This time it's the SOUNDTRACK Showcase! @kingsraleigh! I'll be rocking out with the Guardians! 🎤🎸🎶🎵❤️‍🔥🌌 and capturing the soundtrack scenes all night! 📸 Doors at 6pm, show at 7pm 🎸✨🎵🎶 Ticket link in my bio! Come rock out with Grease, Empire Records, Stranger Things Things, Donnie Darko, Guardians of the Galaxy and the first band to come out of GRRRL Bands, Moon Riot! Come support @grrrlbands and dance and sing the night away! 🎉 by @everylightphotography
Music carries a message, community is the amplifier. Grrrl Bands SOLD OUT The Pinhook on a frigid,🥶 blustery January Sunday night! That was a first! 🔥🤘🏻🎶🎵🎉💜 This showcase was loud, packed like sardines, and full of people showing up for each other. Bands, friends, family, friends who are family, strangers, and venue staff! All a part of the same energy. Proof that when we come together, powerful things happen. There is so much power at the intersection of community and music. Everyone in that room matters. And we're just getting started! The soundtrack showcase is March 15th at @kingsraleigh! Meet us there! Photos from the last showcase are live at the link in my bio! 😘🤘🏻🎵🎶🧡✨ Thank you so much to The Pinhook staff and especially our sound engineer for the evening! 🙏🏻💜 #everylightphotography #grrrlbands #livemusicphotography by @everylightphotography
Played a set, photographed a set, lost my voice cheering these bands on, cried a little. I love you @grrrlbands ! 💕✨ #grrrlbands Missing from this montage is my incredible Fleetwood Mac band. For the next showcase, I'm going to have to partner up with the other photographers in the crowd and collaborate on the next reel. Thank you so much to all of you for playing music with me. I had SO much fun! 🎶🎵💖 If you were at the show and have Fleetwood Mac photos, please post them! by @everylightphotography

Join me at @thelavendersocialnc's Holiday Market this Saturday, December 13th! You'll find an assortment of my prints for the nature-lovers on your list, and you can snag some for yourself too! This collection is: "The Peace of Wild Things: Nature for Your Nervous System." They come from the time I make to escape to my backyard or local/distant woods and mountains when the world is too loud or the "to do" list is too long, or I need to regulate my body and calm down. Most are macro photos from my backyard, a few are from local treasures and events, and some are from travels to see our beautiful world in various parts NC, other states, and international destinations. For as long as I have used a camera, these photos have just been for me. I realized during my latest little afternoon of slowing down and taking some time to witness all of the tiny miracles in my backyard, that there are many other people who would also appreciate these tiny worlds that too often go unnoticed in our hustle and bustle and technology addiction. Please come enjoy and indulge in the secret life of small things in these close up worlds with me! Add a little joy from the tender wild to the walls and tables of your home. 🥰 This is the first time I am selling a print collection and I hope that you enjoy and it brings some joy, calm, wonder, and light to your every day! ✨🧡🐝 by @everylightphotography
