POSTS STORIES REELS

6 years. Thousands of people. One vision. History.
What began in 2019 with my brother and childhood friend @MayorFit has now become a movement — the TabataFit Festival.

This journey has been sustained by consistency, friendship, fitness, family, and relationships — the values that bind us together and make this festival more than just an event, but a community.

We are overwhelmed by the success of the TabataFit Festival 6.0, and we sincerely appreciate the Oyo State Government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Office of the Executive Adviser to the Governor on Youth and Sports for standing solidly with this vision from the outset.

A big thank you to our sponsors, partners, collaborators, and volunteers, whose incredible support has kept this festival alive year after year.

I am grateful for His Excellency, @Seyi_AMakinde, who continues to create an enabling environment for projects like this and everyone who has shown up each year to sweat, smile, and win together. Here’s to many more years of greatness. Oyo State is winning!

It has been exactly a week since the First Oyo State Creative Industry Mixer, and the euphoria following the success of the well-organized event hasn’t subsided.

I am particularly grateful to the over 3000 Creatives of Oyo State who attended, contributed and added colours to this event. The rich attendance is a testament to the fact that Oyo State is ready to upscale her socio-economic potential and we will do everything to make the Pacesetter State regain her status as the hub for creativity and entertainment in Nigeria.

Today, more than ever before, it is safe to say that this current administration under the amiable leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde is doing everything right to create the deserving enabling environment for the Youth and businesses in the State to thrive.

Like I assured our well-meaning Youth and Creatives, this event wouldn’t be a one-time engagement. In collaboration with the private sector and public MDAs of the Government that is saddled with empowering the Youth, we will continue to hold events like this periodically — I see a great future ahead of the Creative and Entertainment Industry in Oyo State, and I’m determined to lead this vanguard into a robust creative economy.

After a week of rest, the team has already begun planning the next engagement. Remember, they say the reward of a good work done is more work and we are more than happy to do this, working assiduously with the Governor, serving the good people of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

Again, thank you, Oyo State.

Yours in service,
The Seun Fakorede,
Executive Adviser on Youth and Sports to the Oyo State Government. by @executiveadviseroysg

During my tenure as Commissioner for Youth & Sports under Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership, we advanced Youth Empowerment and Sports Development, significantly. His Excellency believes that young people will continue to play a pivotal role in our State’s development, and the administration remains committed to promoting this noble cause.

To this end, my Office, as the Executive Adviser to the Governor on Youth & Sports, is organizing a Creative Industry Mixer. This event aims to unite emerging and established talents and stakeholders in entertainment, content creation, comedy, music, dance, writing, photography, videography, and the arts. We are confident that it will help position and nurture these talents for more local success and global dominance.

Our administration ensures no Youth is left behind, providing opportunities for every young person to thrive in an enabling environment.

So, if you’re an established Creative Professional who is looking at expanding your network or a budding Creative who is looking at scaling up — Register for this event here: bit.ly/OyoStateCIM or use the link in the bio.

P.S: What is a Mixer Event? Mixers are social gatherings that encourage relationship building among professionals. Unlike formal Conferences or Seminars, Mixers typically allow attendees to engage in friendly conversations and make connections in a more relaxed atmosphere. by @executiveadviseroysg

OYO STATE CREATIVE INDUSTRY MIXER 2.0 is a high-level thought-leadership and networking event. The theme for this year’s event is “LOCAL ROOTS, GLOBAL REACH”, we are Positioning Oyo State’s Creatives for Global Relevance. by @executiveadviseroysg

Creativity knows no borders, but global relevance starts with a strong sense of identity, the ability to create value, and access to the opportunities that help talent thrive.

Oyo State Creative Industry Mixer 2.0 is a high-level thought-leadership and networking event that will bring together creatives, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders to explore how local talent, cultural heritage, and creative innovation can become globally competitive enterprises and intellectual property.

Through thought-provoking conversations, strategic networking and meaningful industry engagement, the Mixer will examine the opportunities and challenges shaping the creative economy, from monetisation and intellectual property to emerging technologies, global markets and cross-border collaborations.

Our ambition is to move beyond celebrating creativity to building an ecosystem where creative talent can thrive, creative businesses can grow, and ideas born in Oyo State can find audiences, markets, and opportunities worldwide.

Our roots define our identity. Our creativity creates possibilities. Our global reach is the opportunity we must build.

This December, we'll switch up these conversations. Watch this space for more! by @executiveadviseroysg

Winners will receive their tickets by email. Thank you very much. See you all tomorrow! by @executiveadviseroysg

ODIDIOMO — Some relationships begin with friendship. Some with work. Some begin with an assignment, but gradually become defined by trust, shared conviction, and mutual respect. That is what my relationship with you has become.

When I accepted the responsibility of serving as Director of Youth Mobilisation and Strategy, I knew I was taking on a serious assignment. What I did not anticipate was how quickly the relationship would deepen.

Working with you has allowed me to see beyond the public persona — the man who listens, thinks deeply about people, gives others room to contribute and understands that leadership is ultimately about people.

Over time, between strategy meetings, difficult conversations, field engagements, early morning calls and everything in between, we have built something I genuinely value: a relationship anchored in trust.

I have learnt from you. I have challenged you. You have challenged me too. And somehow, those moments have made the journey even more meaningful.

Today, I celebrate not just the public figure that many know, but the person I have had the privilege of knowing more closely. I celebrate your courage to dream, your resilience, your capacity to trust people and your belief that the future can be shaped rather than merely awaited.

My prayer for you today is simple: may GOD grant you wisdom for every decision, strength for every responsibility, grace for every season and the humility to remain grounded as your journey graciously unfolds.

Thank you for the trust and confidence you repose in me. Thank you for the opportunity to serve. Thank you for being such an important part of this chapter of my political trajectory.

Happy birthday, Most Distinguished @AdedejiOdidiomo. May this new year be kind to you, and may GOD continue to order your steps. by @executiveadviseroysg

This morning on Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (NBC)’s Good Morning Namibia Show, I had the privilege of discussing a message that matters now more than ever: the urgent need for ethical social media use.

In a world where a single post can shape perceptions, influence decisions, or ignite conflict, we all carry a responsibility — as citizens, leaders, and content creators — to use our digital voices with intention, empathy, and truth.

My visit to Namibia for this high-level engagement, hosted by the Government of Namibia through the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology, in partnership with Club de Madrid, the European Union, and JCI Namibia, reinforces one truth: responsible digital citizenship is not just a trend; it’s a global priority.

Let’s build an online culture where influence aligns with integrity, and where technology becomes a sustainable tool for peace, development, and collective progress.

Today, more than ever before, let’s choose wisdom over noise, truth over trends, and purpose over virality. by @executiveadviseroysg

Tomorrow, I’ll be speaking at the International Day of the Girl Child Annual Conference 2025, hosted at Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos — under the inspiring theme “Heritage in Her Hands: Preserving Culture through Hospitality, Travel & Tourism.”

It’s an honour to join other thought leaders and changemakers in celebrating the timeless role of women and girls as the true custodians of our collective heritage.

We’ll be exploring how culture, creativity, and compassion can shape the future of hospitality and tourism — and how women continue to hold the key to preserving identity, inspiring innovation, and redefining leadership.

I look forward to a wholesome exchange of ideas, stories, and solutions that remind us that heritage is not behind us — it is in our hands. by @executiveadviseroysg

An Extraordinary Youth for an Extraordinary Nation

At the YES YOU CAN Extraordinary Youth Event on Nigeria’s Independence Day at Jogor Centre, I had the privilege to speak about what it truly means to be an extraordinary Nigerian — one who refuses to wait for opportunities but creates them, one who builds, empowers, and leads with vision and integrity.

Every generation has a responsibility to move the nation forward; ours must do it with creativity, courage, and commitment to service.

From my little corner, I’m grateful to be contributing my quota to the development and empowerment of young people across Nigeria.

This video is a glimpse and highlight of the decisive moments at the YES YOU CAN Conference 2025. Kudos to my friend and brother, @iambabatunmise, for consistently powering this annual event.
