This is Chapter 41! There is so much to dissect, yet so many ambitions on what's to come. I'm grateful to have an amazing support system. A phenomenal foundation. This year, I really focused on self perseverance and discipline for my mind, body, and soul. I've accomplished many goals, traveled the world, broadened my vision, and opened my heart to many. The love and passion I have to give and lead by example is impeccable. I am present in this moment and enjoying every bit of it! Happy Born Day to ME! 📷 Photographer: @page_mackphotography by @eyecandycolee

2nd International Marathon within 3 weeks! Almost that time. Let it fly! by @eyecandycolee
Sydney Marathon... I fought with every fiber of my being. Coming off an injury in June which prohibited many tempo runs and took me back to the basics ....to being sick when I touched down in Sydney fighting a cold.. to crying big tears on the course, doubting myself and my training. Every ounce of my body felt every everlasting hill and every steep downhill. Muscle cramps, fatigue, and mindset almost won the battle, but I had to regroup, refocus, and remind myself of my WHY?... This is bigger than me. I do this for the Culture. I do this for every black girl who wants to run. I do this for my disinvested community. I do this for resources. When they see me they see the Westside. Good things and good people come from the WESTSIDE!! I'M BREAKING THE STEREOTYPICAL NORM. @peace_runners773 WE ARE WORLDWIDE. I love all y'all down! My family, MY BIGGEST support team, I don't exist without ya'll. #1stInternationalMarathon, Sydney Australia ✅️ by @eyecandycolee
