"Built by Geelong people, for Geelong people." That's how Project Manager James describes the newly completed Stead Park Hockey Centre redevelopment and we couldn't agree more. We're proud to have delivered this landmark community facility at Stead Park, creating a modern home for hockey in Geelong and providing benefits that will be enjoyed by players, officials, families and spectators for years to come. The redevelopment features: ✅ Four new player change rooms ✅ Modern level one function and viewing space ✅ Spectator shelters overlooking the pitch ✅ New outdoor hockey pitch facilities ✅ Competition-standard lighting ✅ Improved amenities and accessibility for the wider community Beyond the facility itself, the project delivered a significant economic boost to the region, supporting around 500 local jobs throughout construction and strengthening opportunities for local businesses and trades. Artwork: 'Where We Come Together' by Wadawurrung artist Chloe Chatterton represents stories of Country, community and belonging, created through a workshop with young Hockey Geelong players A huge thank you to our project team, partners and stakeholders who helped bring this vision to life. @cityofgreatergeelong @hockeyvictoriaofficial @developmentvic Regional Development Victoria @hockey.geelong @karringala_art by @fairbrother_construction
What an incredible couple of days on site last week at Bendigo Art Gallery as 47 precast concrete panels were safely installed in just two days. 🏗️ The highlight? Watching a 650-tonne crane lift a 22-tonne panel approximately 60 metres into position, a spectacular display of planning, precision and teamwork. This milestone represents months of preparation, coordination and hard work from our project team, partners and suppliers. A huge thank you to everyone involved for their commitment to safety, quality and collaboration. Special thanks to @advancedcranes , @bighillcranes , @newformprecast , the @cityofgreaterbendigo , @bendigoartgallery , @jcbarchitects @stantec and Turner and Townsend for providing trusted project management. @ourturnerandtownsend 47 panels. 2 days. A day of connection, collaboration and sunshine in Bendigo! ☀️ Yesterday, our Victorian team came together for our latest Communications Day, hosted at one of our live projects, the Bendigo Art Gallery. The day brought plenty of opportunities to connect, share project updates across Fairbrother, hear the latest from the Fairbrother Foundation, celebrate employee milestones and gain insights from guest speaker Martin Heppell from the Resilience Project. We also had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the Bendigo Art Gallery project, seeing firsthand the progress being made on site. A great day bringing our people together, sharing ideas and celebrating what makes Fairbrother special. by @fairbrother_construction

The new Tarratarra Stadium is ready for action! Featuring a brand-new stadium, four multi-sport courts, landscaped surrounds and upgraded road infrastructure, this project will provide a fantastic community facility for one of Victoria's fastest-growing regions. As part of the Regional Sports Infrastructure Program, the project is on track to receive a 5-Star Green Star rating and was delivered ahead of schedule, giving the City of Greater Geelong time to prepare the venue for its first matches. A great result for the Geelong community and a project the whole team can be proud of. @developmentvic @cityofgreatergeelong Regional Development Victoria by @fairbrother_construction
