The little girl who made me a mama is already FIVE! 🥹💖 For someone who has the worst memory and constantly loses her phone and wallet, I still remember the day you were born like it was yesterday. My life has changed in the most beautiful ways since you came into it (and become a whole lot more chaotic..), and I wouldn’t have it any other way. You’ve taught me so much about love, patience, forgiveness in imperfection, and finding joy in the littlest things. Somehow, while I’m busy trying to teach you about life, you’re the one teaching me how to see the world with a little more love and grace. Happy 5th birthday to the girl who made me a mom. I love you more than you’ll ever know. 💖🥹 by @fameleon

Yummy cake by @lefthandedbakeridaho ! This was second time ordering cake from her and I love how my idea always comes out beautifully 🏕️ A lot of decorations are coming from Etsy 🩵 My favorite to eat was deer poop 😂 Enjoyed coming up with all the menu name:) thank you AI 🙏🏼 Cold brew coffee as brown bears 🐻 I had lots of cold brew during party😆 We did cake smash twice as he was not feeling in first try lol Favor detail! I just love the canteen so much! My one happy camper!! Fishing activity! This whole party was inspired by Maverik’s middle name Tahoe, like Lake Tahoe. So, little canoe was must 🛶 by @fameleon
Happy 1st birthday to my little potato boy, Maverik 🥔🤍 My first Idaho-born baby is ONE!!! And somehow, this year went by even faster than Katerina’s first year. I genuinely don’t know how we got here already. A few things about Maverik at ONE: His sleep pattern has basically not progressed since the newborn stage. Still waking up multiple times a night because apparently sleeping through the night is not part of his personal brand. He doesn’t walk. He SPRINTS. This boy is FAST. If he gets quiet for 10 seconds, there is a very good chance he is exploring the trash can, trying to splash in the toilet bowl, or doing something else he absolutely should not be doing. He LOVES throwing balls… and also anything else within throwing distance. Honestly, his arm is pretty impressive. His favorite words are “uh oh spaghetti-o” and “dada.” Meanwhile, you’ve said “mama” just ONCE. Once?! Sir. How comeeeeee? And this boy can EAT. Sometimes he eats more than Katerina and definitely faster. Food does not stand a chance around him. He is curious, wild, hilarious, fearless, and constantly keeping us on our toes. When I found out I was having a boy, I remember not being able to picture what my life with a son would look like. And now, a year later, I can’t imagine our family without him. This year has been eventful, chaotic, exhausting, hilarious, and SO fast. You’ve brought a completely different kind of energy into our family, Maverik, and I’ve loved getting to know the little person you’re becoming. One whole year with my potato boy. 🥔 Happy birthday, Maverik 🤍 I love you more than you know. P.S. You are officially one now, so sleeping through the night would be a very thoughtful birthday gift to your mother. #onehappycamper #maverikisone by @fameleon

I don’t recommend apps to other parents unless I’ve tried them myself and genuinely like them. This summer, Katerina has been curious about books and sounding out words, so we’ve been testing @_readingcom . I love that the lessons are short (about 15 minutes), easy to follow, and actually keep her engaged without feeling like homework. A great option if you’re looking to build reading skills while keeping learning fun. #LearnToRead #MomLife #PreschoolLearning by @fameleon
He said it. Not me 💁🏻‍♀️ I’m not manipulating my son’s one-word vocabulary. #firstword by @fameleon
