Halloween anyone? 👻 by @famorne_

Happy 1st Anniversary, One Cloud Experience!

This time last year, we started a movement, and what a year it has been!

From meeting new people and building friendships to creating unforgettable memories, we’ve shared so much with over 500 members of our community.

What started as an idea has grown into a community built on connection, kindness, collaboration and lifting one another up.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey, attended an activity, volunteered, supported us, shared our vision or simply helped spread the word.

One year down, many more memories to make. 🥂

Here’s to growing together.

#OneCloudExperience #OneYearAnniversary #Community #StrongerTogether by @famorne_

As the year slowly comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on all the gatherings we’ve had in a bid to bring people together, help them grow, and tackle loneliness.

I can’t imagine living my life any other way. Yes, it’s been a lot. But it’s been worth it, and I’m truly grateful to everyone who has contributed to this purpose of bringing people together, helping them make friends, find family, build connections, discover opportunities, and continue to grow.

Building a community is not a job for one person. We must all come together to make it happen. ❤️ by @famorne_

‘The world needs to be more connected now than ever.’ 🌍🫶

We had a lovely chat with @famorne_ from the Sheffield and District African Caribbean Community Association, @sadaccalimited.

Places like SADACCA are essential hubs of culture, creativity and community, helping to keep people across Sheffield connected.

The work they do to bring together communities helps to make Sheffield the welcoming, creative city it is today. 🏙️💛

City of Culture shortlist decision pending…🤞

📹: Massive thanks to @aidan.joseph for the video as ever.

So full of herself. As she should be. 💅🏾 by @famorne_

Just a happy girlie 💋 by @famorne_

To go public with this… phew. But how can I not, when it feels like my whole life is on pause?

I’m still finding answers, but learning about autism has helped parts of my life finally make sense. The meltdowns. The overwhelm. The constant masking, oh, the masking. So exhausting.

The brain fog, panic attacks, chronic tiredness, suicidal thoughts, numbness, intense mood swings, overwhelming emotions and all-or-nothing days. The fear that has made holding down a stable job feel so difficult. There’s still so much I’m trying to understand.

Meeting people whose experiences echo mine has been deeply validating. Hearing someone put into words something I thought I was alone in… I can’t fully explain that relief. It doesn’t answer every question, but it makes me feel less alone while I search for answers.
I called my mum and told her, “My life will get better.” The gift of knowing. 😮‍💨

I’ve cried and cried and cried. But a part of me is relieved. For the first time in a long time, I’m allowing myself to imagine five years from now, instead of struggling to see beyond the next one.

Maybe, in time, I’ll tell the whole story.

I’ve wondered whether saying I’ve lived a hard life makes me ungrateful. But I can appreciate the good and still be honest about what it has cost me.

Oh, this beautiful brain of mine. So much creativity, so much possibility, and so exhausting when you don’t understand what you need.

I’m beginning to listen. 🤍 #autismawareness by @famorne_

Grateful to everyone who continues to support the work we do through SADACCA and One Cloud Experience. by @famorne_

I was privileged to organise SADACCA’s Community Conversation, themed “Towards Greater Unity.”

Anyone who knows me knows how passionate I am about community, unity and working together. I truly believe that when we combine our strengths, ideas and resources, we can achieve far more and create greater opportunities for growth than we ever could alone.

Unity is not just something we talk about, it is something we must actively practise.

Thank you @tabs_shotit for this beautiful video. And a big thank you to everyone who made this possible. Big shoutout to our beautiful host @supergirlontheradio ❤️ by @famorne_
