🌟 CULTUREWORKS COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT 🌟

🏡 It may be too late to check out this year’s Fan Arts Stroll (@fanartsstroll), but it’s never too late to learn about and follow some of the local artists who participated!

🎨 Calie got a chance to chat with Mary Curran (@james_river_linen), Vashaun Brandon (@vashaunbrandon), and Debbie Quick (@clay.g.r.o.u.n.d) on the final day of the event!

💫 What did they each say was their favorite thing about being an artist in Richmond?

👉 The sense of COMMUNITY.

🔗 You can discover hundreds of other arts and culture events that make our region a truly special place to live on the CultureWorks calendar using the link in our bio!

📲 Be sure to follow these incredible artists to stay up-to-date on their work and their other future events.

Let your art be a blessing ✨✨

My 7 Wishes collection are heart-centered creations. Using my meditative painting technique and in the language of my Greek ancestors, I breathe the words of hope, health, luck, love, happiness, joy and peace into each brushstroke. Each one is meant to bring blessings to the people and spaces you adore.

I’m so glad I snapped some pictures of the full batch before they started getting scooped up. I’ll be at the @fanartsstroll today with what’s left. You can find me at the 2100 block of Hanover.

Sending love to you wherever you are in the world on this beautiful Friday.

This follow-up capsule launch to MOTHER has been such a fun treat. Mother 2.0’s mostly paper pieces arrived with certainty, playfulness, and some gumption of their own. I’m so stoked to share them with you tonight and tomorrow at @fanartsstroll from 4-8.
Mostly unframed, these works make collecting a bit easier on the wallet. Anything remaining will be shared on Instagram over the weekend.
Come by and say hi - this is one of my fave events of the year bc I actually get to meet and hang out with new friends and art lovers (and @kkharrisdesign sure knows how to host)!
Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
