Ad* A day before Halloween with me and my four little monsters! 🎃👻

We kicked off the morning making cheesy ghosts for breakfast, then it was straight onto pumpkin carving. And guess what? The twins joined in this year too! 🥹 Watching all four boys grow closer, help each other and enjoy these little traditions together makes my heart so happy. And the best bonus? When they're all busy creating something, there's surprisingly little sibling fighting! 😂

For dinner, we had some naughty little kids' fingers… don't worry, just meatballs shaped like fingers with pumpkin seeds for fingernails! 👻

I'd promised the boys a bonfire and marshmallows this half term, and we finally got a break from all the rain and storms. A lovely calm evening was just what we needed. We also had a new toy to try – the Kindling Cracker™️ from @fandangofiretools (*Ad/gift)! The boys absolutely loved having a go at splitting the wood. It's a much safer alternative to using an axe, and even older children can get involved with adult supervision.

We finished the day with toasted marshmallows, hot chocolate (the twins' very first taste! ☕️) and four very happy boys.

I absolutely love Halloween. It's not really about the sweets or the costumes for me. It's about creating little traditions, making memories and adding a bit of magic to my children's childhood. ❤️

And just like that, the house was ready for Halloween! 🎃

Some evenings you don’t want to end.

Glowmaster is a low-smoke fire pit for real wood. Its double wall heats the air and feeds it back into the flames, which burn off much of the smoke before it reaches you.

You keep the crackle and the warmth. And nobody moves their chair when the wind turns.

Three sizes. Back garden to campsite. Designed in Scandinavia.

Coming soon.

Nights are drawing in. Check out how you can safely and easily split firewood.

The authentic, patented Kindling Cracker™️ uses a fixed cast iron blade inside a safety ring, so your hands stay well clear of the sharp bit. Tap with a mallet and you are done. The whole family can get involved, unlike with an axe.

Patented, and built to outlive all of us.
