April is c section awareness month. A lot of people don’t know my birth story so I thought I would share it. I was 36 weeks and 6 days when I went to my ultrasound and they did a stress test. Noah’s heart rate was dropping and my amniotic fluid was also low. They decided to admit me and monitor his heart rate with a planned induction for 2 days later. Later that night around 2 am they decided to do an emergency c section at 8AM. My initial response was yes do whatever is best for the baby, but low key I was freaking out and didn’t want a cesarean. My husband was there for my support which gave me the strength, but most of all knowing my son would be safe and healthy was my biggest reason for my strength.
To all the mamas out there who have had a c section we are brave, strong and courageous women. The recovery process has been so much more difficult than it would’ve been if I had given natural birth. We are super moms. So I post this to tell all my c section mamas out there we are amazing.

2022 has been good to us. Alhamdulillah Noah didn’t have his heart surgery again this year! Yay! It was filled with a lot of doctors appointments, 1 major surgery and some hospital stays which is nothing out of the ordinary. It was also filled with a lot of new adventures for my Noah bear as he got to see all his family & got his Covid vaccine so we could have that comfort of him being around others. Yes it did end with a scare as he ended up hospitalized due to HMPV, but 2023 is going to bring a lot of adventures as Noah starts school and hopefully we can maybe take a mini vacation for the first time in 3 years! Here’s to an amazing year especially because it involved no heart surgery! ❤️ My life is all about this little one 🙃

37 weeks and 5 days Alhamdulillah still going strong. This is my first pregnancy where I have been able to workout the entire time. (Cept in the beginning when I go diagnosed with a hematoma and took a 4 week break which wasn’t too bad) trying to be stronger so I can have a better recovery since I will be doing a planned c section Insha’Allah. Hoping I can continue until the last day. 💪🏽 peep noor interrupting me this is how we workout with toddlers 😆 and yes I am currently swollen lol
