To the organization I love,

Thank you for the greatest 8 years of my life. In that time the academy has shaped me into the man I became today. Thank you to all the youth, coaches, coworkers, mentors, volunteers, and alumni I served over the years. Thank you for trusting me and inspiring me to be my best self each and every day. You are now family to me and will never be forgotten. It is with a heavy heart I write this letter, unfortunately this chapter of my life is closing but I’m eager to see what God has for me in the future. Thank you @charlie_sperduto for giving an at-risk 19 year old kid from Landover, Maryland a chance to reach heights he never could’ve imagined. You and the Washington Nationals decision has single handedly saved my life. You and the organization gave me an opportunity to change young people’s lives and ultimately changing my own. The academy has left an imprint on my heart that will stay forever. I’m super grateful to leave my impact on the academy and leaving a legacy for years to come. To every arrival time football game on field 2, to every clapping rhythm pattern to start gathering time in the training room. I’m super grateful for it all. I’m beyond bless to impact my community one throw, one hit, and one catch at a time.

To the youth I serve,

Thank you for making me who I am as a person. Everything I do on a day to day basis is for guys. Thank you for putting up with every bad joke and every failed dance trend I do. You guys are amazing scholar athletes and I can’t wait to see you guys grow up to make your families super proud one day. You guys installed so much in me you have no idea. You guys are the future of the academy. Continue to spread love to one another and don’t be afraid to take risks. Listen to your parents and coaches around you and trust them they are leading you into the right direction. I promise to not be a stranger you guys will always see me around. I’m always one tik tok or one phone call away. Love each and every one y’all! You will always be lil bro or lil sis to me and family is forever.

Love Yours 🖤
