Roasted clutch. Flat rear tire. Somehow a podium.

Earlier this year, I dragged the Bullitt OG2 back out to the desert for another crack at the Biltwell 100.

Prep was questionable. The bike fought me. Things went sideways pretty quickly.

And somehow, we ended up third.

Finally got the full story up on The Bullitt.

I had a wild few weeks bouncing around China, Hong Kong and Taiwan recently.

The trip kicked off with me getting stuck in Shanghai during a typhoon. Somewhere along the way I took a Didi to completely the wrong place and got pretty lost, and coming back into mainland China from Hong Kong, I spent a few hours stuck in customs over a mix-up with my visa. 😂

In between all of that, I got to spend some time at our mainland China offices and finally meet a bunch of colleagues I’d been working with remotely. We planned out a huge chunk of the strategy for launching our e-Motos to the world, and even snuck in some seat time on a prototype 805 RX.

From there, we popped over to Taiwan to see the first 10 805 RXs come off the production line. We filmed an episode of our Inside Line series, visited the @ridesirris to see the suspension going onto our bikes, and got to work directly with our killer engineering team.

I’ve been so heads down on this stuff that I’ve barely come up for air lately. Lots of late nights and early mornings. I don’t think I’ve ever put more heart, soul and physical hours into a project like this.

We just wrapped our press conference, and the 805 RX officially launches next Tuesday, September 1.

Our main campaign film is going to be insane, and we have some incredible photography to go with it.

Psyched to finally start sharing what we’ve been working on.

A little overdue, but excited to finally share that I’ve joined @ridebonnell.

New team. New challenge. Plenty of dirt already.

The last few weeks have been a blur of trails, photo shoots, planning sessions, and big ideas. It’s been a hell of a way to start a new chapter.

Looking forward to what’s next ⚡️ by @fatrickplynn

After six years at @zeromotorcycles, that chapter’s done.

Started managing social. Ended up owning global marketing automation. In between, a bit of everything: launches, events, rides, photo shoots, and a lot of time building behind the scenes.

Somewhere in there, I got to line up a DSR/X at the Biltwell 100 and take first in class. Still feels wild.

Mostly though, it was the people.

Miles well spent ⚡️ by @fatrickplynn

The Biltwell 100 doesn’t hand out anything. Lost time early, spent the rest of the race chasing it down—finished on a dead-flat rear, but nothing was stopping me from crossing that line.

Later found out I moved up to 3rd in class. No box on the day, but it still counts. Medal’s going up.

Appreciate Josh at Biltwell for getting it sorted.

Happy Easter from Ireland 🇮🇪 by @fatrickplynn

When we first shot these, the photos were under embargo. Then once they were public, I somehow never shared them personally. So, here we are.

I’ve been on a lot of photo shoots throughout my career. Sometimes behind the scenes, sometimes in front of the camera. Never before have I had the chance to help coordinate and execute a shoot and get to ride in the photos. Shooting the photo and video assets for the global launch of our MY25 @zeromotorcycles lineup was, without a doubt, the most fun I’ve ever had on a shoot.

We started in downtown LA with studio work, then moved into some seriously killer street riding throughout DTLA. Shutting down busy streets, police escorts, burnouts under bridge overpasses, wheelies across bridges. It was epic.

For the off-road portion, we headed up to Bishop, CA and explored some unreal locations and terrain. River crossings, sunrise rides through secret canyons, hot springs under the stars. An unforgettable experience.

From the locations to the crew and everything in between, it couldn’t have come together any better. Grateful for the experience, the people, and the rides. Let’s do it again.

15 years in and you’re still my favorite person to cruise through this wild life with. Here’s to the next 15, @cassidycflynn 🩵 by @fatrickplynn

I’ve ridden and raced the DSR/X across more states and landscapes than almost any other bike, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Washington’s rolling hills sit high on the list of favorite rides.

From Waitlist to Flag Drop 🏔️🏁

Made it into the inaugural Big Bear MX GP off the waitlist, 1 of 700 racers to line up on the gnarly course.

No practice. One sight lap. Then 40 minutes of roots, ruts, rocks, and pure survival mode.

Borrowed bike. Beat-up body. But I made it through (and didn’t die).

Coming back stronger next year. 💪
