I DISCOVERED SOMETHING ELSE IN IVORY COAST CAPITAL CITY (YAMOUSSOUKRO🇨🇮) AFTER VISITING THE WORLD’S LARGEST CHURCH! 🐊

Would you believe there is a lake full of crocodiles right beside the Presidential Palace in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire?

Welcome to the famous Crocodile Lake (Lac aux Caïmans), one of the city’s most fascinating tourist attractions!

After visiting the magnificent Basilica of Our Lady of Peace, I decided to explore another side of Yamoussoukro, and this was definitely an interesting experience.

The lake is home to sacred crocodiles, which have become part of the city’s history and identity. Seeing these enormous reptiles in their natural-looking surroundings was something I won’t forget in a hurry!

If you’re planning a trip to Côte d’Ivoire, especially if you’re visiting the Basilica, I would definitely recommend adding the Crocodile Lake to your Yamoussoukro itinerary. Don’t just visit the church and leave without exploring more of this fascinating city!

Yamoussoukro has more to offer than many people realise. 🇨🇮❤️

Now, be honest: WOULD YOU BE COMFORTABLE STANDING BESIDE A LAKE FULL OF CROCODILES? 😂🐊

Save this post for your next trip to Ivory Coast and share it with someone you’d love to explore Africa with!

THE LARGEST CHURCH IN THE WORLD IS IN AFRICA! 🇨🇮🌍 And I got to see it with my own eyes.

This architectural masterpiece holds the Guinness World Record as the largest church in the world.

Hidden in the heart of Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire, stands the magnificent Basilica of Our Lady of Peace.

With an incredible total area of approximately 30,000 square metres, The architecture, the enormous dome, the towering columns and the sheer scale of this place are something you have to see to appreciate.

And to think that a structure of this magnitude is right here in Africa!

Every journey reminds me that there is so much more to discover about this continent.

Africa is beautiful. Africa is fascinating. And I intend to see more of it. ❤️

Now I’m curious: Did you know that the world’s largest church is located in Côte d’Ivoire, Africa?

“I disappeared.”

And honestly, I didn’t plan to disappear for this long.

The last time I was consistently posting travel content, a lot was happening.

I was showing you places you could travel to with ₦1 million…

I was doing the Africa edition, Europe edition, Asia edition…

And some of those videos brought thousands of people to this page.

Then life happened.

I got a 9–5.

I travelled.

I came back.

I got busy.

And somewhere along the line, I stopped creating.

Months passed.

And the longer I stayed away, the harder it became to come back.

But I’m back now.

And this time, I’m not just coming back to make travel videos.

I’ve been building something
Introducing to you …….

A Queen will always turn pain into power.

In 2 - 3 years you really can be somewhere you never imagined. That’s why it’s so important to keep going.

Showing up for myself because the version of me l’m working towards is worth the
effort💪

There are two ways to be happy: change the situation, or change your mindset about the situation.

God says, “I didn’t promise that every day would be easy, but I will help you overcome every trial that comes your way.

you must develop a strong opinion of yourself so you don’t internalize the beliefs of others.

until death, all defeat is psychological.

one day, you’ll realize no one was watching, and you could have done what you wanted.

you will always want what is within your field of potential, so if you want it, it means you can have it.

the degree to which a person can grow is directly proportional to the amount of truth they can accept without running away.

Here’s your permission to take the day off from being the bigger person.
Choose violence.
You deserve it.

I never think twice about my decisions.

Right here I find myself again✈️ by @fav_oprah

When life gets better, and it will, may the memories of our pain and suffering deepen the wells of our empathy.

May we always remember how we once felt, how badly we wanted even a bit of love, so that we may touch others with a heart of compassion.

A Very important prayer!

Sometimes I feel like I go through so much just so I can understand when I get there.
