Throwback 🏈 to @feastonthefield last Wednesday in support of @capitalcarefoundation

Feast is one of our favorite nights of the summer - we have been thrilled to participate every year since 2018!

Huge thank you to all the guests, volunteers, chefs, and sponsors who make this special event come together. It's a huge undertaking, and an important cause - raising funds to support members of our community living at Capital Care facilities across the region.

Let's also take a moment to honour the legendary Brad Smoliak, who launched this event in 2015 and got us all involved.

Another successful @feastonthefield in the books this year! Something new and exciting is that Edmonton’s Young Chefs were given the opportunity to showcase their dishes at the VIP Reception with a Summer BBQ Inspired Appetizer Menu.

The menu was created and led by Board Members Chef Crystal Higgins (@chefcrystalhiggins ) of Chartier and Chef Louie Vargas (@cheflouie_vargas ) of NAIT, featuring an array of fantastic local producers on their dishes and alongside an amazing group of young chef volunteers. Together, they prepared and served their creations to 100 guests, setting the stage for another memorable evening celebrating food and community!

The main event, the much awaited long table dinner on the field of the stadium, a collaboration between the city’s top chefs, Chef David Omar (@chefdaveomar ) of Marquis Hospitality, Chef Steve Buzak (@stevebuzak ) of @theroyalglenora , Chef Peter Keith (@peter.keith_ ) of @meuwlys and Chef Vikram Redgaonkar of @highlandsgolfclubyeg , also showcasing local producers and serving a total of 600 guests, the biggest turnout yet, all for a good cause, in support of the @capitalcarefoundation . A huge thank you to everyone involved, chefs, young chefs, volunteers and to everyone who came out to support!
