“To see the miraculous in the ordinary is a more precious gift than prophecy.” —Dr. Abraham Verghese, The Covenant of Water
@abraham.verghese.official: Thank you, Dr. Verghese and Ms. Costanzo, for donating your wonderful books to @feldmansbooks.
We are longtime admirers of your work. Both Jack and Aidan have enjoyed your books—Jack likes The Covenant of Water while Aidan prefers Cutting for Stone, and Jack prefers The Tennis Partner, whereas Aidan likes My Own Country. To each his own elective affinities… Meanwhile, it is miraculous indeed to meet an author whose prose one knows well, suddenly as a commended stranger. Thank you, Dr. Verghese, for being as kind with us as your writing is beautiful and humane. There seems a touch of prophecy here to an ordinary encounter; good things may well be on the horizon at our shop.
Feldman’s Customers may now acquire several foreign language editions of Dr. Verghese’s books, among other titles and treasures, once of his collection. With sincere gratitude and respect, we hope to see you around the shop.
Happy Midsummer.
Sincerely,
—Feldman’s Books by @feldmansbooks

Hey friends. We’re glad to support our neighbors at @rosablancabooks, who are raising funds to open their first storefront!

From one bookstore to another, we believe in lifting each other up.

Here’s the deal: The first person to donate $200, will receive a $100 Feldman’s Books gift card, donated by Aidan Stone (@stonelovestone ).

It’s our way of helping this budding bookstore bloom… and giving you half your value back in books.

Check the kickstarter link in their bio!

Let’s build the future of independent bookstores together. by @feldmansbooks
