Another 21 km to the books. Golden Gate Half Marathon 🤛🏿 by @feri_1
7 years after graduating, I’m back at the College of Pharmacy, where I spent 5 years doing my PhD! This place saw the best and worst of me. It challenged me in so many ways, pushed me to my limits, and definitely shaped me into the scientist and person I am today. Many times I’ve been asked, “If you could go back, would you do it all over again?” And for a long time, my answer was NO. But today, looking back at everything, I can say YES, I would do it all over again! Having a PhD is so much more than just a title. It changes the way you think, how you approach problems, and how you deal with challenges. It teaches you resilience, perseverance, and how to keep going even when things seem impossible. I will always be grateful for this experience, for all the opportunities and successes it has brought me, and especially for everything it taught me along the way. Not only as a scientist, but most importantly, as a person. by @feri_1

Feliz aniversario, esposa. Te amo ❤️ by @feri_1

What a race, what a feeling! 🥹❤️‍🔥 Just want to say THANK YOU and how incredibly proud I am of you @feri_1 !!! It was amazing and such a privilege to share this entire process with you and be an excellent team throughout race day. 🫶🏼 A few thank yous, because even though triathlon looks like an individual sport, you definitely don’t race alone. It’s a team sport that starts months before race day…. Thank you coach @triatlonalo , for the guidance and support throughout the process 🙌🏼 Thank you nutritionist, because I felt AMAZING well hydrated, fueled, and ready to race in a 35°C day @mariavillalonsb @marthaymaria.nut 🔥 Thank you to our photographer and best cheerleader @pau.junco , for capturing the moments and being there every minutes starting 3 am 📸❤️ And thank you to everyone for all your messages, support, and love before and after race day!! 70.3 Northern California @visitredding @ironmanamericas I will see you again 🏊🏼‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️❤️‍🔥 #ironman70.3 #redding #triathlon by @feri_1
70.3 Northern California #ironmanamericas, my first one. Goal achieved: enjoy the process, enjoy the race, and cross that finish line together. My face says it all, I couldn’t have been happier throughout the entire course. There’s no better feeling than doing what I love most with the person I love most. Thank you, @triatlonalo, for the amazing coaching and a race strategy that worked perfectly. Thank you, @mariavillalonsb for the nutrition plan, it was absolutely key to executing so well in those hot conditions. And thank you, @pau.junco, for being the best cheerleader. Cusho, @lujucoach @luujuncoguera , thanks for sharing this passion with me. We really are the best team. Te amo infinito! On to the next one!!! by @feri_1
37 and counting… by @feri_1
100 km ride together 🚴‍♀️ These are the sessions that don’t always make the highlight reel, but they’re the ones that build confidence when race day comes. One thing I always tell my athletes: you don’t need every session to be perfect you just need to keep consistency at the top, and this is what gets you stronger. What’s your biggest cycling goal right now? 🚴 I’d love to hear what you’re working toward 👇 #100kmcycling #riding #training #ironamntraining by @feri_1
🏊‍♀️ 🚴🏼‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ by @feri_1
