Since I was a kid halftones have always attracted my attention from looking at the newspaper comics and asking how can dots make a picture .
In my journey its has always been the hardest to learn and understand. But I knew eventually if I kept at it I would get good at it.
When I received the artwork to do this project I knew it would take sometime to put together on the computer. Using a combination of photoshop and Illustrator and a little help from my Son artwork was done.
And then its on to the Shop where you have to know your screen mesh and get you timing right....
And once you have that down its on to the printing.

You know mija that I love the movie A Knights Tale
Because of the meaning that a person can change his stars... But today you replace that movie for me.
I look up to you and how you changed yours.
If people only knew what you went through.
But I admire you for never giving up.
Today is your day to shine Pajarito.

I always wear hats. Maybe never see me with out one.
So I always wanted to make my own hat. Yes it would be
easy to take my idea to someone and embroider it for me.
But if you know me you know I wanted more.
So I bought my own machine and yes I took my lumps
Messed up a bunch of hats. But along the way I met a couple people that helped me get better at this craft.
So my first
was the Los Angeles then came The Harbor Area one.
They were not made to sell I just wanted to rock something diffrent. But from there people asked if I could make one for there city. And from there it went.
When you buy a hat from me it's different.
I have put everything into it from the titanium needles I use down to the thread and puff i have. I treat every hat as if it was for me...

This is where most of my time is spent. It might not be much to others but this is my place of peace. Its where
I can be creative. If you know me or have been here their is always music playing. Loud cause thats how I like it.
I like to step in here and just leave everything at the door and just focus on the projects . I have ahead of me.
Ive come along ways from being in my back yard not
knowing what to do to now printing and seeing people
Wear what I print and to this dayI still crack a smile and get happy and tell myself if they only knew where that print came from....🙂
