THANK YOU FOR MAKING CONTACT+ POSSIBLE.
@fest.contactplus
For nine days, Chișinău, Moldova, became a meeting point for contemporary dance, movement and performance — bringing together artists, teachers and participants from different countries.

Through workshops, performances and shared practice, Contact+ 2026 connected people, cultures and artistic perspectives, creating new encounters and international connections.
❕None of this happens alone.
Our sincere thanks to the supporters and partners who helped make it possible 🙏

I barely filmed anything at the Contact Improvisation Festival. Of course, I regretted it afterwards — because apparently, my brain still believes that every beautiful moment must be documented to count as real. 😂 Next time, I’ll try to remember that a camera exists. And maybe even use it.

But this time, I was simply in it. Fully immersed in the process, the movement, the people, and everything unfolding around me.

With every festival, I feel myself opening up a little more — to people, to the process, to unexpected situations, and to the beautiful chaos of not knowing what comes next.

New connections, shared experiences, endless attempts to become a little better at contact improvisation (and occasional reminders that the floor is always there for you 😅). And somehow, with every encounter, another piece of the puzzle falls into place. The bigger picture is slowly revealing itself, even if I still have no idea what the final image is supposed to look like.

And no, this video doesn’t even begin to capture everything that happened there. The wild jams, the lunchtime conversations that somehow turn into philosophical debates, my walks with Olya, and our two completely different universes colliding, orbiting each other, and occasionally merging into one.

Her universe has become so familiar, so close, and so dear to me that I genuinely have no idea what I’m going to do without her. (❤️)

Thank you to the organizers and everyone who was part of this experience — for your openness, curiosity, presence, movement, and all the little moments that can’t be captured on camera but stay with you long after the festival ends.

I came to dance, but I’m leaving with so much more.

See you soon, beautiful humans! by @fest.contactplus
