POSTS STORIES REELS

🖤⚡️ High Voltage⚡️🖤

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting @katecoleauthor at @indigopointeclaire last Saturday. She wrote a book series about badass women working in trades, and it is everything and more!

Book 1 has our FMC killing it as a mason and book 2 has a kickass commercial diver FMC.

High Voltage (book 3) is about Greta, operator of High Voltage Electric, loyal to the bone, who lives a predictable life. That is until she meets a tweed-jacket wearing geography professor on her new job site; a slutty little glasses wearing man with a secret.

What I love the most about Kate’s writing is how real the characters feel. This could literally be about anyone of us working in a “man’s world”.

What to expect:
🖤 Forbidden Romance
💛 Opposites Attract
🖤 Spicy Scrabble
💛 Mysterious Notes
🖤 Electrifying puns
💛 A sexy red dress and a coat room

Slide 4 for a beautiful vellum insert I got at the signing. 🤩

✨ I’ve been pretty busy… ✨
.
.
I’ve been here and there as I’m sure you’ve seen! I just finished up my first 3 weeks at a new job (and loving it soooo much very much)
I’ve been reading but definitely taking my time and not forcing, especially while I adjust to my new schedule! Here’s some of the things I’ve been up to;

• Started a new job! The food perk is an absolute dream, the vibe and people are amazing, I’m really loving my job itself as well!
• @canadiensmtl pre season games! My son FINALLY got to meet Youppi and was the happiest little kid ever, he was very sad that he didn’t get to meet metal though! It was his very first game!
Also got to try out the 200s section for one of the pre-season games with @j_abookaboum and it was such a nice view, we’re DYING to try and save to do the penalty box VIP this season so badly!!
• Heated Rivalry POP Q&A also with the bestie, and Rachel brought out @robsgk it was an absolute treat of a night and I’m so fucking glad we got to go even if I was completely exhausted haha
• Costco Hoodies xD not only did I make a run to get some for me and the bestie, but half the office also got them as well xD

Overall I’m reading and slowly, but honestly been reading some books I really really enjoyed! You’ll be seeing the reviews pop up in the coming days since I finally had a chance to sit and put some things together!

QOTD: What have you been up to lately?
Most recently I read Crazy Pucker by @hilaryroseauthor and absolutely adored it!! Now I need to pick something next! by @fiberedfolios

Spooky Season Vibes 👻🎃
.
.
I love thrillers and creepy books, moreso even during the ‘ber months!
This spooky season I have a couple books on the brain!
🎃 Ask For Andrea by @noelleihliauthor
Read this one about a year and a half ago now by audio and I ADORED it! Highly recommend. I found a gorgeous foily sprayed edge copy at winners!
👻 Never Whistle At Night Edited by @tvayyyy & @shane.hawk
I read this one probably two years ago I think now! It was one of the first books I purchased on my Kobo and I recommend this one any chance I get!
🎃 Never Whistle At Night Part II; Back For Blood Edited by Shane Hawk & Theodore C. Van Alst Jr
Picked this one up swiftly as soon as I got back from Schefferville. My god it’s even better, I’m so supremely unsettled in the best possible way. I have several authors I need to check out now! I still have a couple stories left to read to finish this one off though!
👻 Waxy Cones by @jennifermercerbooks
This is the one that’s one my list to read as soon as I finish NWAT2! It’s a domestic thriller and I’m so excited to get into it!! The author is also Canadian which I ADORE!

Then I’ve also started a thriller I got from @berkleypub that comes out next week! It’s A Beautiful Lie by @tanyagrantbooks
I’m so unsettled by NWAT, in the best possible way and I think everyone who likes to be creeped out should absolutely check it out!!

Thank you so bloody much to @sjtillyauthor & @smalltowncutie38 for including me in another ARC run and spoiling us with the cutest goodies!!

In under a week we welcome Vameer to the club.
I absolutely adored this book so much, there’s something perfect about an ancient vampire trying to figure out modern times!! Rune was a badass, and as always Tilly has left me chomping at the bit for mooooooore!
