We had a ridiculously HOT 🥵start to the Fall season. It’s been over 100F daytime, 80F evening all week!
So, had to stay indoors, turn on the AC and knit. Why not right? How’s it going for you?

It’s been a while since I’ve picked up my knitting needles. My first dip back is a therapeutic knit - Ginny’s #sidewinderbeanie . I love this one so much.

We are all mothers in the knitting world - our dear handmade knits are our babies!

Made with love, properly cared for, we take it along wherever we go, we spend hours of quality time together, we watch it grow, and when the time is right, off it goes into the world, independent of us.
Happy Mother’s Day to all us knitter mommas.

Yarns held together:
The scarf I’m knitting uses two strands of mohair held together, and it suggests winding them into one ball before starting. This easy prep will definitely reduce the stress of having 2 balls of yarn rolling around.
This Clover Japan yarn winder is so nice. It’s sturdy and solid and it glides smoothly. by @fibernoodles

Fun Chow Funs!
Steph @skullandhooks uses the most bold, bright and beautiful colors for her beanies! She’s knit up some amazing Chow Fun Beanies over the past few years. Thanks Steph 💕
Her knits are show stoppers. Check out her amazing work and give her a follow if you haven’t already.

Knitting up a scarf with this mohair yarn from @sevyhaus_seongsu in Korea. Besides food and skincare products, Korea has some aesthetic hotspots worth visiting! by @fibernoodles

Knitting and Self Care
The best thing I did in Korea was to get 2 massages - a facial lymphatic massage and an upper body massage for my achy and tight head, neck and shoulders.
The tension on my neck and shoulders were no joke. (The physical therapist once told me “you want your glutes this hard, not your shoulders 🤣”)
After treatment, I felt so much better and was even able to breathe more at ease.
Going forward, I hope to take more breaks from long knitting sessions because we just have one body. We need to take good care of it. #takeadeepbreath
