The Act of Making Impact

Some years back during my university days on campus, I’ve being a kind of person that love to give to people, in whatever capacity I have and most times it's always little (in my own eyes)or not in financial possession, I usually feel I should to do more or I haven't done enough.

So I continued to give people through speech, helping, counseling and more of encouraging people.
I have a particular brother in the Lord whom I could refer to as a younger brother to me or a spiritual son(as they do call it) I was a few years ahead of him in school, so I usually talk to him, encourage, counsel and be of help in the area of spiritual growth and even to his younger sister who at that time just finished secondary school. So, in the course of my spiritual mentoring, I gave him a book to read but did not remember to collect back (the title of the book is "Finishing Strong" by Steve Farrah, not sure I can recollect the name of the author correctly). Life moved on, we all finished uni but still kept in touch (That's another thing about me I don't give up easily on people except if they are not willing)

Fast forward to last year when this brother of mine got an opportunity to travel out of the country to further his studies, he reached out to me and informed me about the wonderful news, I was so happy but didn't still have much to support him financially, I could only give my moral, spiritual and constant check up as support.

Here is my message today, some month back he reached out to me to thank me, ,thank me for what?’ I asked curiously me that I was even telling him I’m sorry I've not send something to him.... here is his shocking respond which brought tears into my eyes
He said....mama you don't know what you have done for me and what God has used you to do in my life,he told me when he was packing for his traveling he manage to add few books to his load because he already had enough loads on ground and that book I gave him that year in school made it to his new country of residence and as a matter of fact was still reading it few days ago with my name boldly written on it and.....continue reading in the comment session 👇👇👇 by @fikkayomi

Life have its seasons… the highs, the lows, the quiet moments in between.
But through it all, one thing remains constant — God’s faithfulness.
If you’re in a place of waiting, hurting, or uncertainty, this is your reminder:
God’s got you.
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5
Your joy is coming.
Your morning is now.
Don’t give up. Hold on to Him.
God bless you 🙏#newday #christiancontentcreator #joyfulnews

But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5

Today, we remember the greatest love ever shown.
A sacrifice so deep, it brought us peace, healing, and redemption.
Good Friday reminds us that His pain was not in vain — it was for us.
May our hearts be filled with gratitude and our lives reflect His love. ❤️
Happy Good Friday 🙏 by @fikkayomi
