Inspiring women to fill their cups so they can pour into the people and passions in their lives. We might spill a little tea along the way! ☕️🥂🥤

Happy 4th Lociversary to me 🔒🔒🔒 7.22

This last year was a test in resilience and these locs reflected that. We went thru A LOT and we might have gotten a little weary but we did not tire out 👊🏽

I do nothing but grow the hair and occasionally wear a satin bonnet. The rest is @adistinctimage 💜✨

The journey continues…

🎤 IT’S THE 1ST OF THE MONTH 🪴🚿

These plants only need to be watered monthly in my experience. When the 1st of the month rolls around, that’s my day to water these babies - otherwise I will forget 😬 Shout out to @saudiachila for the @elmdirt Plant Juice 😘 I added some to make the water extra juicy 🌱

If you’re a plant parent who doesn’t want to water often, try these plants out:

✅ ZZ plants
✅ Snake plants
✅ Rubber plants
✅ Succulents

Always check the care info on specific varieties because what do I know. I’m just a plant mom listening to hip hop and trying to keep her plants alive ✨💚🪴 by @fillingmycupbrb

DIY Water Feature ⛲️ for the 🕊️ and the 🐝

I wanted to add a water fountain or birdbath into my garden for the birds and bees, and also the sound is so peaceful.

For this DIY, I used this large planter I already had as the base and thrifted this serving plate for where the water/water pump would go.

The @poposoapsolar water pump is solar powered with a built-in battery and multiple fountain heads. Comment if you want the link and I will DM you 🔗 #urbangardening #diywaterfeature #solarpump #birdbath potagergarde by @fillingmycupbrb

7 swaps I made with finds from @ikeausa over the weekend. Sometimes the little things make a big difference. #ikeafinds #fillingmycup by @fillingmycupbrb

My husband asked for a spot to put in a hammock. I asked ChatGPT for a design concept and then we put it together over time. Perfect spot for filling our cup ☕️🪴

We’ve officially moved from an urban garden to an urban homestead!

Inspired by @leafandbeanfarm to dry and store these herbs we’re growing. No place to hang herbs to dry? I hung them from our living room curtain rod. Typical storage glass jars a little too ‘country’ for a more modern aesthetic? These storage jars are a great find for us city gworls.

Storage jars 👉🏾 DM me and I’ll send you the link

Shrimp Stir-Fry 😋

This is a quick and easy meal for the family. My son has requested this on repeat. Simple, affordable, and accessible ingredients are key!

#stitch with @iamtrinitij Take up space, Sis! ✨💚 You paid for it after all. Walk in there like you own the place because YOU DO 🧘🏾😎

And if you’re one of the people making fun and posting videos of people struggling at the gym instead of helping them or silently rooting for them, YOU’RE THE PROBLEM 😡

What’s your fav spot in class?

This is how I spend every day at the gym. I’m following @muscleandstrength 12-Week Push, Pull, Legs Workout for Women plan. It’s a 6-days a week plan, with 1 rest day. This plan is designed specifically for women looking to build lean muscle and lose body fat.

Each day’s workout only takes 20-30 minutes depending on how many dance breaks I take 😂 My playlists are 🔥 IYKYK

Now that I’ve completed all of the exercises on the schedule, I feel more confident. I know where all the machines are and how to operate them 🏋🏾‍♀️

My dietician provided this plan to me, and if you want to check it out, here’s the link: https://www.muscleandstrength.com/
