Here are some random L.A. vibes. I really like the photo of the man with the colorful hat; I think that Kodak Ultramax 400 did an excellent job of letting the colors pop.

Bödefeld on Kentmere 400. Kentmere 400 is a highly versatile film stock: pleasant grain, wide dynamic range, and very capable at ISO 1600. As I was losing light, I decided to push the film two stops for these frames.

Joshua Tree at 34°. Luckily, my Canonet didn’t melt, so I was able to capture this beautiful shot. Which one do you like best? number 1 or 2?

Fujifilm Pro 400H renders sunset colours beautifully: cooler tones with impressive sharpness. Shot on a Mamiya 645 using a tripod.

This was a first for me... I had never shot positive slide film before, largely out of fear of overexposure. I am glad I took the risk on this roll in Iseo, Italy—the colors came out beautifully, and the Canonet’s sharpness really shines through. This roll of film works particularly well here, where the light and the picturesque setting of Iseo suit it perfectly.
