In 2022, I set a goal: Produce and direct a festival worthy film and stream it on Hawaiian Airlines.

I embraced every step, and by December 2023, “It’s Shave Ice” was complete. I submitted to festivals, prayed in the waiting, and in October 2024, I was honored as an Official Selection to premiere at the Hawaiʻi International Film Festival. After sold out screenings on O’ahu and Maui, I was motivated than ever to share the film with a larger audience...

At the end of 2025, I got the email I’d been praying for — “It’s Shave Ice” was selected to stream on @hawaiianairlines In-Flight Entertainment ✨And a few weeks ago, I got to watch my film from the sky and tie a bow on the goals I set out to achieve.

Filmmaking is incredibly humbling and equally gratifying, and I’m grateful for every opportunity that refines my skill and vision. — Guided by God’s plan and just getting started. Mahalo nui for being here.
