It’s dangerous making a car auction website.

COMMENT “FinalLap” and text you when the first one goes live!

🏁 FinalLap.com is a new car auction platform I’m launching soon. Fridays at 1PM we run one online auction. Cars go one at a time, a few minutes each, back to back, until they’re gone. Browse the cars all week, but you can only bid during the live auction. It’s entertaining, even if you’re not a buyer.

This is why (!!) we’ve been quiet about the collector car marketplace we’re building. It’s still coming, but under our new name FinalLap ( @finallapcom ). We’re almost ready to open things up.

Comment “FinalLap” and I’ll send you the details.

Today I’m announcing the car marketplace I’m building with my buddy @hazemgiballi. It’s called QuickShift (EDIT: after this video was posted we renamed it FinalLap @finallapcom ). We think we’ve found a really fun angle for auctions that the community is going to love.

We’re not ready to launch quite yet, but if you love cars, follow along. We’re going to build it publicly and launch later this year.

Comment “QuickShift” and I’ll send you the details.
