A centuries-old finca waking up again.
A life reimagined alongside it.
The process, the finds, the philosophy.

Tucked away on our land is this little stone house, where generations ago, the sheep were brought in for the night. A little piece of the finca’s history…
Now what could we do with it?

And just like that, the intense heat of summer has quietly slipped away.

Yesterday, I reached for a sweater for the first time –since June!

Autumn in Mallorca is magical. You can feel the island exhale.

A softer energy has come to take summer’s place. The local community comes alive again with fiestas del pueblo, music and slow evenings by the fire.

Our fields have gone from summer brown to green. The trees we planted in the spring are now growing at full speed. After a long, hot summer that forced us to slow down and put many of our finca plans on hold, we’re ready to pick up where we left off.

Half my adult life, I’ve been searching for a place that truly felt like mine.

Stockholm, Buenos Aires, Madrid, London, Barcelona. Almost right but not quite.

A place where my soul connects.

Turns out it was waiting for me here. In Mallorca. Who would have thought?

With nature as in life -everything is constantly changing. The lush green landscape has swiftly turned yellowish. The lack of rain makes summer colors come earlier this year here in Mallorca 🌻

From a distance it looks resolved. Up close, it’s not.

This week we bought our dream house.

Ours, finally. Years of searching. More detours than we expected. More uncertainty than we planned for.
