No more brutal workouts. Just dancing and having fun. 🕺💗 I lift my 10-lb pink weights, keep my movement joyful, and skip the intense soreness that leaves you wrecked for days. Still holding strong at 48 lbs of lean muscle! Proof you don’t have to punish your body to build a strong, healthy one. Let joy be your strategy. ✨#busymomsgetfit by @findhealthwithkate

EDM music has always had my heart , from seeing Moby in Philly, Chicago House Clubs, to still being out there dancing all these years later. 🔥 with oskar med k
I’m grateful for fun friends who still say YES to nights like this ⚡️and grateful that all those years of moving, lifting, dancing and acupuncture mean I can still say yes too. 💜#genxfitness #housemusicallnightlong by @findhealthwithkate

Saw Moby at my first “rave.” Still dancing to house music all these years later. #housemusiclovers by @findhealthwithkate

Brain fog + pain this spring😩☘️, the flowers 💐 are beautiful…
but have you noticed:
• More headaches🤯
• Feeling achy😖
• That foggy feeling🫩

It’s not just allergies.
👉 It’s histamine + inflammation

Histamine can:
• Increase inflammation
• Affect blood vessels
• Make headaches + pain worse
My story—
As a child, I had severe allergies.
I saw multiple ENT specialists.
As an adult, it got worse…
sinus headaches, every spring.

Then I tried acupuncture + herbal medicine—
and honestly, it was life changing 😊

My allergies disappeared ( no more meds) …
until after I had my daughter (hello immune shifts 😅)
👉 This is actually one of the reasons I went to acupuncture school.

Because I lived it.#alternativemedicine #allergyrelief

There is hope.

Things research shows can help:
• Acupuncture
• Quercetin + luteolin
• Gut + immune support

If you feel worse every spring…
your body is reacting, not broken.

I’ll be sharing more of what I do to stay active, get outside, and keep dancing—even during early spring. 💜 by @findhealthwithkate

3 nights of dancing… and still standing 💃🏽😂
I’m genuinely grateful my body can do this. 💜
There was a time my adrenals were so stressed that I barely had the energy to walk around the block. That’s when I learned how important DHEA is — and why I now educate my patients about it.

What’s been helping me lately:
✨ Acupuncture
✨ Creatine
✨ NAD support
✨ And paying attention to stress/adrenal hormones like DHEA

Feeling extra grateful for my Latin dance community for always making my birthday so special 💜#nervousystemregulation #adrenalfatiguerecovery by @findhealthwithkate

Are you popping Advil or Tylenol after workouts? 💊😬
You might be hurting your gut and liver.

Every year, Tylenol alone sends 50,000+ people to the ER.

I see this all the time in my practice.
Pain improves when we calm inflammation—not just cover it up.

What I use with acupuncture:
👉 Curcumin (turmeric)
👉 Fish oil

There’s solid research on both for lowering inflammation.

⚠️ But quality matters:
• Curcumin → look for Meriva® or with BioPerine®
• Fish oil → third-party tested + fresh

This is how I help patients get out of pain—so they can get off or decrease their meds💪
P.S. Always check with your medical provider, some supplements can interact with medications by @findhealthwithkate

If your nervous system is stuck in stress mode,
your hormones and gut will struggle too.

One slow breath can shift your biology.

Breathe in calm.
Breathe out fear. 🌸

$Rest days =repair days. I see this pattern in a lot of active women I treat. They’re training hard… but: • persistent pain after working out • weight loss stalls • exhausted but can’t sleep I’ve even seen Early osteoporosis, arthritis and stress fractures in women who are pushing their bodies constantly. I’ve experienced it myself. When I was teaching high-intensity fitness classes, pushing harder actually contributed to osteopenia and stress fractures. When the body is stuck in a chronic stress response, recovery just doesn’t happen the way it should. You can’t out-train a stressed nervous system. Have you noticed recovery changing over the years?#perimenopausefitness by @findhealthwithkate$

Peptides won’t work…..if your body is on fire.🔥
I was listening to Dr. Jim LaValle — author of The Peptide Handbook and President of the International Peptide Society — and he said it clearly:
If you don’t regulate your stress response and address underlying inflammation, advanced therapies underperform.( know anyone not losing weight on Ozempic? 🤨
He even went so far as to say GLPs won’t drive weight loss effectively if inflammation is overriding the cellular signaling.

Translation?

You can’t out-supplement a stressed, inflamed body.

Foundation first:
• Calm the nervous system
• Lower inflammation
• Eat real protein
• Sleep
• Move

Then the “advanced” tools actually amplify results.#busymomsgetfit #alternativemedicine by @findhealthwithkate

I’m not anti-chocolate — I love it an# think it should be part of the new food pyramid 😅
But some chocolate products have tested positive for lead and cadmium, and I think it’s worth being aware of. No fear here, just informed choices. I personally focus on daily support for detox pathways because I’ve seen how toxic burden can affect things like thyroid health and brain fog in clients. Stop paying people to yell at you. 🛑
I used to be a fitness instructor, so I know the vibe. But as a holistic nurse and someone who lives with hyper-vigilance, I’m here to tell you: your body can’t always tell the difference between a “motivational” scream and a threat.
When you’re already stressed, more yelling—from a coach or from your own inner critic—just spikes your cortisol and locks your nervous system into fight-or-flight.
You don’t need more pressure to “heal faster” or “move better.” You need safety. You need to calm your system so your body can actually restore itself.
Kindness isn’t lazy; it’s biological. ❤️🌿
The Call to Action: Are you ready to stop the “BS” and start listening to your body? Let’s dance it out and regulate together. 💃✨#NervousSystemRegulation #cortisolimbalance #SomaticHealing #AntiHustleCulture #DanceYourAffirmations by @findhealthwithkate

I have so many clients on hormones who are still exhausted, not sleeping well, bloated, and anxious.

It’s not that hormones don’t matter. They do.
But if the nervous system is constantly stressed, the body stays in survival mode—not repair mode.

Balancing the nervous system is the foundation.
That’s when the body can actually rest, restore, and feel better.
