Gets me every single time.
When you're in a Cricket shop stop and observe the mind games these kids are playing on their parents to obtain new gear 😂.

Every Cricket Parent Can Relate To This 😄 Find it's best to let him do an angry lap of the pitch before we talk...... Or send another parent!

Play it cool, play it cool....... Nope can't do it. Still be doing it when he's in his 40s and he does something.

Highlight of Last Season, going away to league leaders Lepton and defeating them to win the League title on the final day of the season.

Days like that, creating memories to last a lifetime are what it's all about.

Especially satisfying if it's against a 'chirpy' member of the opposition.

What a season 2026 has been.

Played u13,u15,u17,3rd xi and 2nd xi for @lascelleshallcc
A tour down to Kings College Taunton with the @the.macc.academy and even a game for @newfarnleycricketclub under 18s!
A trip to my Great Grandad's Cricket club @pateleybridgecc to take in a game, been a highlight connecting with them .
Then nominated for the 'Young Hero' award by @bbcsheffield and had an inspiring day at the awards ceremony.
Then won U13 all rounder, U15 Batter and U17 Bowling award for 2026 at the club.
Oh and did I mention we won the Huddersfield Under 13s League title!

Played with a lot of great people and learnt so much going forward, onto the next!

Remember us Parents know nothing about cricket...... It's always their idea eventually not ours 😉.

A great day at @lascelleshallcc celebrating all the Junior sections of this great club.
Finley came away with U13 All Rounder award, U15 Batting award and U17S Bowling award to cap a great season with the Club.
A very enjoyable year with a great set of Lads and coaches at all age groups and of course the Under 13 League title.
Time for rest............. But probably not with Finley!
