ECG PHOTO DUMP ✨
For @maliseiya_cosplay and me, representing our country at ECG was a dream come true !! We still can’t believe that we walked on that famous stage alongside all these incredible, talented cosplayers !! It felt magical 💕

We had so much fun on stage and backstage !! Everyone was so friendly and nice !! We met not only talented and passionate cosplayers from across the world, but also very kind people. We’ll cherish these memories forever and we really hope we’ll meet again !! 🫶🏻

Once again, congratulations to all the winners and participants for all their hard work !! ❤️

A huge thank you to @foxtrotprops for being the perfect helper and friend !! You stayed calm even when we were in panic mode. You were always there to help, support, cheer us on or talk about anything. Thank you again for everything 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Thanks and a lot of love also to all the @epic_asso and Sam for organising the event so well, and for their kindness and professionalism. You guys really are the best !! 💕 Thank you to the photographers @anto.g.ph and @axelclergeau too !! You know how to help, and you’re very professional and nice too 🫶🏻

We still can’t believe what happened last week.
We went on the stage of Polymanga for the first time in 2017. It was on the Sunday, the same day as the qualifications. Back then, we didn’t try for selections or anything. We just wanted to see what it was like to be on stage. But I remember seeing all these INCREDIBLE cosplayers in the backstage and being amazed. I remember being so inspired by their talents. I think that I can speak for @maliseiya_cosplay too when I say that it really motivated us.
2019 was the first time we tried for the ECG selections. At this time, we worked with Eva Foam and Worbla for the first time. It was our first “real project“ and I think it was maybe a bit too ambitious for the (lack of) skills we had back then but at the same time it taught us a lot (finitions !!!)
Then, we worked on smaller projects and we participated in general contests for a few years because we wanted to improve our skills. We tried again for the selections in 2022, we worked on other projects again and in 2025 we ended runner-up for the ECG selections which motivated us a lot !! Since @maliseiya_cosplay started her Eivor’s cosplay in 2023, we decided that it was a good idea to finish this project and try for the selection again !! And after countless hours of work, we actually did it !! We’re so happy for this opportunity and we’ll try our best to improve our cosplays and our skit 🫶🏻
So never give up and keep trying again and again !! 💕

🇬🇧Here’s some close up with some fun facts ✨

The dress looks simple, but it took me about 260 hours from pattern making to hand embroidery!! I also had to rework the dress at one point because the size didn’t fit anymore for some reason? There was a lot of sewing and un-sewing 🥲
Anyway, each flower on my dress was hand covered in embroidery thread to get the right colour, which took me HOURS + there are 1200 hand stitched beads on the cuffs and I think that’s the part I’m most proud of!! 🫶🏻

🇫🇷 La robe a l’air facile à première vue mais elle m’a pris environ 260 heures depuis le patronage jusqu’à la broderie à la main et à la création des bijoux !! En plus j’ai dû reprendre ma robe à un moment car la taille n’était plus adaptée ?? J’ai dû pas mal découdre / recoudre 🥲
Bref, chaque fleur de ma robe a été re-brodée par dessus à la main pour obtenir la bonne couleur, ce qui m’a pris des HEURES + sur les manchettes, il y a 1200 perles cousues à la main, et je crois que c’est la partie dont je suis la plus fière !! 🫶🏻

🇫🇷Polymanga est déjà terminé, il est temps de retourner à la réalité 🥲
J’ai passé deux super jours à Polymanga !! Samedi au concours avec @maliseiya_cosplay et le dimanche en civil pour se balader et passer du bon temps avec les copains 🫶🏻
Je suis contente d’avoir pu retourner sur scène !! Merci encore à @nekotaisen d’avoir accepté de faire la voix du narrateur !! 💕
L’ambiance dans les backstage était comme toujours au top et tout le monde était incroyablement talentueux !! 😍 Et cerise sur le gâteau, on a fini dauphines pour les sélections ECG !! Ça me motive énormément pour l’année prochaine hehe !!

🇬🇧Polymanga is already over, time to come back to reality 🥲
I spent two great days at Polymanga!!! Saturday at the cosplay contest with @maliseiya_cosplay and Sunday hanging out and having a good time with friends 🫶🏻 I’m happy I got to go on stage again!! Thanks again to @nekotaisen for agreeing to be the narrator’s voice 💕
The backstage atmosphere was great as always and everyone was incredibly talented I’m amazed by you all !! 😍 And icing on the cake, we placed as runners up for the ECG selection !!! That’s great motivation for next year hehe!!

Japan Impact Dump 💫
It was a blast!!! On the first day @maliseiya_cosplay and I cosplayed as Gideon Nav and Harrowhark Nonagesimus from The Lock Tomb series, which is one of my favourite book series EVER. It was so much fun cosplaying this chaotic, edgy couple 🦴
On Sunday we improvised some Star Wars oc with part of our Anakin & Obi-Wan cosplay and part of our Gideon & Harrow cosplay which was so cosy and very fun too! Now I want to do Star Wars cosplay again 🥲

But of course the best part was seeing friends and spending some quality time with some amazing friends ❤️

ENFIN. Silco, c’est un cosplay que j’ai commencé en avril 2022. C’était un projet à l’origine prévu pour une finale, puis pour des sélections, mais j’ai rencontré plein de problèmes, j’ai dû refaire certaines parties plusieurs fois et je parvenais pas à obtenir le rendu que je voulais. Je l’ai laissé dans un coin durant de longs mois mais cet été j’ai décidé de le reprendre et de le terminer pour DeTo. J’ai réalisé qu’il y a plein de trucs que je ferais autrement maintenant (rien que pour me simplifier la vie) mais je suis au final contente du rendu et fière de l’avoir terminé !! ✨ Ça m’avait manqué d’aller sur scène avec @maliseiya_cosplay et j’étais trop contente d’avoir accompagné sa Jinx tout simplement incroyable ❤️ On a participé au concours général du dimanche et on a eu…la première place !! J’en reviens toujours pas !! 😭❤️
Encore bravo à toutes les personnes qui ont participé au concours, vous étiez magnifiques et talenteux !!
Un grand merci aussi aux membres du staff du concours qui étaient adorables comme toujours, au présentateur (@captainpool_ ) qui a été génial et aux jury pour leur retour très constructif !! 💕

[Eng] FINALLY. Silco is a cosplay that I started in April 2022. It was originally a project for a final, then for a selection, but... I ran into a lot of problems, I had to redo certain parts several times and I couldn’t get the result I wanted. I left it in a corner for many months, but this summer I decided to go back and finish it for DeTo. I realised that there are a lot of things I would do differently now, but in the end I’m happy with the result and proud to have finished it !! ✨ I’d missed being on stage with @maliseiya_cosplay and I was really happy to accompany her incredible Jinx ❤️ We entered the general competition on Sunday and got... first place!!! I still can’t believe it !! 😭❤️
Congratulations again to everyone who took part in the competition, you were all amazing and talented!!
A big thank you also to the staff who were lovely as always, the presenter (@captainpool_ ) who was great and the judges for their very constructive feedback!!! 💕
