It’s raining green-yellow petals of Cassia flowers all along the pathway that follows the boulevard through the village - so pretty and one of my favourite colours!

Amazing blue wings on this busy bee I spied in the Community garden

Is it obvious that I can’t resist a Brocante?! All the interesting things to look at, try on some rings and bangles, a charming village to explore, sit by the étang in Cucuron, a chance to practice my French with the stall holders, get outdoors before the sun is tortuous! I left feeling quite satisfied with a newly picked melon sold by a local woman (pic 9) and a lovely plate from the Brocante store in the village (I’ll show in a future post soon)

I hate to tell you this but the weather in Provence has been absolutely perfect these past few weeks, my walk to buy bread this morning proved irresistible for taking a few snaps as the famous Provençal light was sublime. Here are 20 photos taken around the village for you to enjoy.

A little excursion to a local lavender field that we frequent with our art clients, it’s a dream come true for many who have long wanted to stroll amongst the lavender in Provence. It’s also very satisfying to sit and draw here for a morning. Join us in late June through to late July for an amazing art experience

Remembering a highlight from Summer in Perth, Western Australia - Crowded House concert in the magnificent grounds of King’s Park - which Neil Finn claimed on the night: was possibly the best outdoor venue he’s ever performed at 🙌
Thanks C+D xx

A beautiful seafood lunch at @balearrijatetxea recently - simply prepared, elegantly presented and served - bonus being right on the quiet, picturesque beach.
NB. Just water in the little-ones glass!

BILBAO what a lovely city to visit!
Aside from The Guggenheim Museum and seeking out pintxos we had little planned for our first stop in Basque Country - so it was such a pleasant surprise to discover the attractions of this town. A beautiful historical city centre, fabulous buildings, tram system, urban landscaping and all very walkable. Playgrounds for our little granddaughter were a bonus 🙌 Highly recommended.
