Both demand embracing the discomfort and pressure, turning pain into art. When it's all done, you step back and see something truly beautiful. Each line and note tells a story, a reminder that beauty often comes from embracing something honest and real. Thanks to Vu Tran from @vudoo_tattoo in Orange for bringing this sleeve to life. But instead of treating the story as defeat, “I Push” asks a different question: What if the struggle itself is enough? If you’ve wanted to learn the song, this is the easiest place to start. One finger. One riff. One very stubborn rock. Seeing Quicksand live again was like returning to a treasure chest full of musical gold! Back in 1994, when I first stumbled upon Quicksand’s raw and gripping sound, it was like discovering a new world. Their music became the soundtrack to my life, pushing me to try new things and step outside of my comfort zone. The influence they had on my musical journey is undeniable. Being in the crowd, feeling the energy as they played, was electrifying. It reignited the fire in me to keep creating, just like they inspired me to do all those years ago. Their live performance was a masterclass in passion, reminding me exactly why I fell in love with playing music. Quicksand’s impact on my musical aspirations is immeasurable.
