Most VCs are fighting over the same founders in the same pitch competitions. We went to the bars instead.

Coasters in bars across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia 🇱🇹🇱🇻🇪🇪

Because the founders we’re looking for aren’t reading ad campaigns. They’re the ones out on a Friday night, half-listening to the table, already thinking about the thing they can’t stop building. So we put the message where the moment happens – under the drink, in their hands, right when the idea won’t leave them alone.

Different coaster in each country. Same message underneath: stop waiting. start building. we’ll back you.

Baltics, check under your glass 🧑‍🚀

Aaand last Startup Social Kaunas before summer is over 🤝

Big shoutout to our speaker Antanas Bakšys – Co-Founder & CEO of Ace Waves. Yesterday he talked about the real life of a startup founder: what the day-to-day actually looks like, his journey toward Ace Waves, and spreading that true Kaunas spirit – ’cause it’s cool 🙂‍↕️

Ofc thanks for joining us and co-organizing this one together, @firstpickvc and for moderating the discussion, Marijus Andrijauskas 😎

You don’t have the network. You don’t have the track record. You might not even have the company registered yet, but…

…you have the idea and you can’t stop thinking about it.

That’s who ⭐️ All-stars is for.

Not the pitch-deck type. The builder with leverage, not perfection. The one who starts behind and finishes ahead.

€100K to back your first move.
100+ operators.
250+ founders already in the league.

Hesitation is expensive.

2.0 mode activated 😎 as we’re launching a new €25M fund to invest in early-stage 🇱🇹 🇱🇻 🇪🇪 Baltic startups.

Our thesis stays where it has always been - inception and pre-seed, backing founders at day -1. AI-first software is a core focus, but above all, we back founders.

We’ve learned that the best talent rarely fits a standard VC checklist. That’s why we choose to move early and decide fast, backing conviction over credentials and looking for grit, clarity of thought, and real execution long before a company appears “ready” on paper.

This fund is backed by an incredible group of local entrepreneurs, angels, and founders of companies like @tesonet_hq, @oberloapp, and @kilo.global, @lostastronaut_space with ILTE Lietuva and the Ekonomikos ir inovacijų ministerija.

To all our LPs, thank you for the trust. 💜

Now we go to do what we do best.
Find the sharpest builders and back them first.

LET’S GO. 😎 by @firstpickvc

☀️ Summer Closing Networking Night ☀️ was warmzy (both weather-wise and vibe-wise🌡️). At some point, we even started wondering… was this the closing of summer or the opening?! 🥸

Either way, we’re still 🎢 riding the high. There’s always something special about community gatherings, seeing people 🤝 connect and 🫂 reconnect.

Huge thanks 💜 to each and every one of you who showed up, and to our sponsors for making it happen: @cloudvisorians, Google Cloud and @seb.lietuvoje.
