We are passionate about being “dream facilitators” when it comes to helping DIY groups plan their Alaskan adventures. Here are a few photos a recent DIY group shared with us of their float the second week of August!

Just got back from disconnecting for almost 5 weeks. Re-entry is tough. I love not worrying about technology (exception: inreach satellite) and connecting with the wildlife and the awesome folks who work hard to make it happen.

Remote Alaska is SO wild and special. Incredible adventure floating through the Katmai National Park 40+ miles on the river living with the bears. Fishing was incredible! These fish are so strong and wild. I was joined by a great group of friends on this adventure I will never forget it. If you have a few minutes follow along and check it out.

Feeling truly blessed. There is no feeling like watching your Alaskan Uber fly away as you embark on a week long float trip in bush Alaska

More trending audio from this summer. Slowing down to “the pace of the river” for a whole week is one of the best parts of a float trip! by @fishandfloatalaska

Chum Salmon (Oncorhynchus keta), also known as dog salmon, historically have not gotten as much love as other salmon species because they are not as desirable table fair. But they are a fantastic sport fish. Their large size, combined with their willingness to chase a fly make for some exciting action! And their bold colors and big teeth make for some cool photos!
