Fishtown wouldnโ€™t be Fishtown without its small businesses! From the shops and boutiques to the restaurants and neighborhood favorites, these independent businesses are what give our community its personality, character and local flavor. And chances are, there are some great places you pass by several times a week that you havenโ€™t had a chance to explore yet! As we count down to Small Business Saturday, we're shining a spotlight on the local businesses that make Fishtown special. Meet Toile | 1333 Frankford Avenue Having recently celebrated 13 years in Fishtown on November 1st, Toile opened as a boutique featuring clothing, jewelry and accessories from six local designers. Today, owner and designer Bianca DePietro has grown it into a home for more than 50 independent designers and local brands. Bianca also specializes in custom bridal designs and reworking treasured heirloom gowns, giving special pieces a whole new life. Celebrate with Toile this Small Business Saturday (Nov 28)! Stop by for a Sip & Shop and local designer pop-ups. This season, make a point to shop local, discover something new and support the small businesses that make our neighborhood one of a kind. When you support a local business, you're investing in the community we all call home! #Fishtown #ShopLocal #SmallBusinessSaturday #FishtownDistrict #SupportSmallBusiness #Toile by @fishtown_district
